@MrsRobbieHart- I like Toyah's clothes

luckylavender · 16/10/2021 10:40

@TellingBone - Abi and Kevin aren't married

DahliaMacNamara · 16/10/2021 11:02

@TheresSomethingAboutAndy

Is Roy going to dig about in the river and find the blood stained clothing and become the hero we all knew he was?
I thought for a second last night that they were going to bob up in the drain when Nina was pouring in the dirty water. I wasn't even surprised at such an unlikely possibility.
Viviennemary · 16/10/2021 11:06

They might appear in the sinkhole.

GettingLardy · 16/10/2021 13:03

Along with Rick Neelan's corpse.

woodhill · 16/10/2021 13:48

@MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers

I was very concerned for poor little Elsie being banished to her room so that Imran and Toyah could argue.
Aren't most of the kids in Corrie living this lifestyle- usually upstairs
Optimist1 · 16/10/2021 17:07

Talking of the sinkhole, I thought it was a bit rich of Gail to suddenly declare what a risk it posed after months and months of nothing being done about it.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 16/10/2021 17:36

If they take any note and start reading this thread, we need more Sexy Steve. Not silly Steve or panto Steve but more like when he joined. Feel free to ship him down here for some practice, I'm sure Emma won't mind sharing...

eddiemairswife · 16/10/2021 17:37

I would have thought the Council would have been concerned about the sinkhole. When we were shown it (months ago) it looked very man-made, too rectangular.

DahliaMacNamara · 16/10/2021 17:40

I'm a bit puzzled by the cost to fill in the 'sinkhole' when it's been established it wasn't actually a true sinkhole. Shouldn't Debbie be forking out for at least some of the repairs, since it was her partner in crime who made the bloody thing in the first place? I don't see why the householder is liable. I feel slightly over-invested, in case some criminal mastermind decides to pull the same trick in my own back garden.

MrsRobbieHart · 16/10/2021 18:14

I would have thought there would have been some sort of victims fund to pay for the sinkhole.

eddiemairswife · 16/10/2021 18:25

Was it Ray who caused it? I should like to know how. If it involved many gallons of water surely the Water Board would have noticed and sent someone out to investigate to see if there was a leak.

MrsRobbieHart · 16/10/2021 18:57

Yes Ray. Apparently paid some man to come round and make a sinkhole in the arts garden that would appear at just the right moment. Very realistic.

NCTDN · 17/10/2021 14:30

Talking of Ray, what happened to him?

MrsRobbieHart · 17/10/2021 14:30

Prison I think?

SpindelWhorl · 17/10/2021 17:19

@MrsRobbieHart

Me too. I’m hoping Peter has sewn all his wild oats and is now happy and settled. But you know what Corrie writers are like…
The writers project, project I tell you!

I imagine them all living horrendously suppressed lives in John Lewis and IKEA-themed townhouses, unleashing their latent feelings of carnage and sad pent-up lust on to the characters they create and ultimately warp.

thenightsky · 17/10/2021 17:24

@NCTDN

Talking of Ray, what happened to him?
Didn't he get whalloped on the head by Fay?
ChildOfFriday · 17/10/2021 17:39

I think she meant to wallop Ray but instead walloped Adam?

DahliaMacNamara · 17/10/2021 17:44

Speaking of Faye, I'm very glad we haven't been subjected to endless prison scenes involving her. That's another item on my list of unwanted storylines, along with gangsters and drugs. I can't tell you how much my heart sank when Harvey popped up on screen the other day.

SpindelWhorl · 17/10/2021 17:51

@MrsRobbieHart

Where do they shop for toyah’s clothes? Her dress looks like Mary Poppins carpet bag.
I actually found it in my local George at Asda, it's the "pre-loved vintage non-returnable" section they're doing. It looks like the dressing up rack for when Norman Bates wants to be Mother.
Viviennemary · 17/10/2021 17:58

Toyah is so annoying. Get rid along with the equally irritating Daisy.

bunnybuggs · 17/10/2021 18:36

I thought Dev and Aadi (good actor who does well on the screen) going fishing would unearth the missing bag - but it was thrown in the canal I think Hmm

WomanStanleyWoman · 18/10/2021 00:20

Why does everyone think abi is pregnant ?!

Because it’s the law in soapland that, if you actually want a baby, you will be diagnosed as infertile (before the miracle pregnancy some months later), but if you have a one night stand with someone you really shouldn’t, you will definitely get pregnant.

OP posts:
eggandonion · 18/10/2021 09:16

I keep hoping Toyah will have a miracle baby. Imran hasn't had a shower recently, and Adam hasn't had his top off since he moved to the invisible place with poor Harry.
I think only Alina is pregnant now.

Deadringer · 18/10/2021 09:50

I keep hoping Toyah will have a baby too, even though i know it's silly. Abi having a baby would cause so much trouble, thats why it seems likely. Trouble for her relationship with Kevin, and Inram's with Toyah, but they would also get so much out of Abi's angst about whether to keep the baby or not, after losing Seb, and giving up her twins. Wow, imagine if she had twins, one Kevin's and one Inram's!
