I haven't watched tonight's second episode yet but I'm relieved to see that I wasn't the only one who couldn't hear a word that Abi was saying. I hate to say it but I'm losing sympathy with her.

Glad it wasn't just me, I said to myself "can't understand a word she's saying"!

Right, the last episode was amusingly bad. This was ridiculous!

Corey climbed about a foot up the wall of the hole trying to escape and was miles from the top, yet Roy’s cardi reached them easily! And Abi spent two episodes not being able to move, groaning away, yet she jumped up and grabbed Roy’s cardi like Bambi!

Harvey is like the terminator (not a mark on him whatever happens!). And the gun stays dry, intact and ready, wherever it lands.

And the only policeman in the area comes to take Abi for questioning, despite complete carnage all around, and doesn’t even lift his radio to summon super Craig!

The number of people disappearing down holes made it laughable. Bit like a comedy send-up, wasn't it?

Ok let's get this straight. So many deaths/not deaths. Correct me if I am mistaken. It was confusing.

Aadi - stuck in a car which blew up - fine
Leanne - captured by a crazed murderer - fine
Harvey - swallowed by a sinkhole, washed out the sewer, in the exact same place as an errant gun - fine
Asha and Dev - in a crash. Fine
Abbie - swallowed by a sinkhole in the exact moment she was about to shoot a murderer, stuck in a sewer with a murderer with a gun, he is hit by a brick, she gets the gun, he gets out, she gets swallowed by an almighty wave but crawls out the sewer - fine
Corey - Abbie sets out to shoot him but accidentally gets swallowed by a sinkhole, then a freak wave, he is fine.
Jenny - swallowed by a sinkhole. Probably not fine
Jonny - likely about to die trying to save Jenny
Death toll: 0
Probable deaths: Jonny and Jenny
Possible deaths: Aadi, Kev
A fully believable turn of events, bravo writers!

Im concerned about Elsie, Harvey could hold her at gunpoint. Certain people haven't been seen recently...the Eileen household, the archdeacon, people like that could de unaccounted for.
Poor Robert the chef is never mentioned, he was the victim of the Christmas event. I can't recall who shot him? Some Gary foe?
