Ah Karen Sad. I enjoyed today's episode, I liked it showing that a person from a criminal family had the same issues as a lot of other people and that police and criminals can have a respectful relationship. It was also nice to see that while PC Chien was definitely someone who sticks to the law she wasn't unkind. I wonder if we're going to see any of this Starbuck online character Al has met? It's funny isn't it that the ex stalker who has also been stalked is the one who has had the most relationships!

TDogsInHats · 11/10/2021 16:44

I watched half heartedly today as have lots on my mind. I hate this time of year leading into NovemberSad
Hurry up February.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 11/10/2021 16:55

Oh TDogsInHats I don't know why this time of year is so hard for you but it sounds like it's a yearly occurrence. I am so sorry that you are sad. FlowersCakeBrew

Aw thanks for the kind words.

Aw, TDogs - I so get you about the day to yourself thing. DH and I both work outside the home and did throughout most of the pandemic, if we had both had to WFH it would have been really hard, we don't have space for a home office so it would have been one in the kitchen, one in the living room and DCs working in their rooms. When we are both at home we give each other plenty of space as we both go out a lot but I don't like it if he takes a day off on Fridays when I don't work, I treasure that day to myself even if I am mostly doing chores and errands.

Raahh - DD sounds as though she's got her priorities right re SATS Grin.

Haven't watched todays yet, will try and catch up before bed. Been having a bit of a wobble about my DS, he has gone into boarding at his SEN school and I am missing him.

Lucky we've all got this thread for fun and chat!

smallandimperfectlyformed · 11/10/2021 22:49

Ah EerilyDisembodied that must be hard, all the best to you.

TDogsInHats · 12/10/2021 07:48

Thanks Eerily
I hope your boy is settling in okay with boarding, I bet you are missing him so much.

EerilyDisembodied · 12/10/2021 09:54

Thank you, he's fine (he's 17, not a real youngster). I've been generally OK, but sometimes it just hits me that I feel lonely, DH and DD were out last night and it's unusual for me to be home alone in the evening, normally I'm either out or at home with at least one of my teen DC.

Anyway, it meant I had first dibs on the telly Grin so I managed to catch up. Enjoying the Bear family story, not sure what Al is up to, a bit fed up with the police goings on.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 12/10/2021 11:00

I liked the police stuff best when Howard was in it, him with the fabulous hair! I saw people mentioning Ethan's mum in Emmerdale was Faith in Doctors, I didn't see it then so I don't recognise her.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 12/10/2021 13:57

Noone watching it live? Harold the emotional support hamster and an escort attending a pregnancy scan!! It's bonkers

theresnoonequitelikegrandma · 12/10/2021 14:01

@smallandimperfectlyformed - I thought Harold was a support snake?......not that it makes it any less bonkers! 🤣🤣

JustDanceAddict · 12/10/2021 14:02

I’m Here watching live!!

LIZS · 12/10/2021 14:03

Rhuma diagnosing again.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 12/10/2021 14:11

there'snoonequitelikegrandma she said she said it was a snake at first to make the hamster less weird! Two mentions of covid as well so far in this episode...

MadisonAvenue · 12/10/2021 16:18

Glad to see here that it was a hamster and not a snake, when I saw the preview yesterday I thought I wasn’t going to watch if there was a nope rope in it.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 12/10/2021 17:53

A nope rope, that's absolutely brilliant! The episode today was alright, not awful, just OK so if you were to have missed it it wouldn't have been a problem!

Raahh · 13/10/2021 12:30

I have missed the last two days, having had a horrible migraine since the weekend.

I'm wondering if it is worth catching up - or just rebel and go straight into today's. It's Doctors- it's not like I'm going to miss a vital plot twist is, it? Grin

I might start with Monday.

Raahh · 13/10/2021 12:33

Eerily I hope your son is settling in at his school- must be hard. Flowers

Raahh · 13/10/2021 12:43

I'm catching up with Monday's and Karen is so sad Sad. I don't like it.

KilledByWitches · 13/10/2021 12:53

Missed yesterdays, it was my birthday so DH took me out for the day (lunch and a trip to my happy place, Homesense 😂)
Anyway, cab to catch up and doesn't sound as if I've missed much.

Raahh · 13/10/2021 13:11

And Rob is still being horrible to her...Angry.

Raahh · 13/10/2021 13:45

Catching up on yesterday's - it was odd to have Covid mentioned, after they have studiously avoided the subject really since the lockdown episode last year.

And support hamster Grin??

Raahh · 13/10/2021 13:48

Zara is really not very sympathetic is she?

KilledByWitches · 13/10/2021 13:51

I cant see those foil blankets now without thinking back to Sherlock, "I'm in shock, look, I've got a blanket"
