is anyone watching this? It just seems stupidly unfunny. Am I missing something?

The adverts for the programme made me want to cover my TV screen in projectile vomit, even though I don't mind AH on the radio.

I think you did well to sit still through a whole episode.

I watched the first episode. It was just weird. Myrtle clearly acting and the who thing just beyond staged. Thought it was a bit silly too.

I think it’s funny that at age fifty Amanda thinks she’d be young enough to have a living nan, let alone an able bodied one that can come and live with her and get drunk 😂

Oh and of course it’s staged- that’s Leigh Francis, playing a character.

But it's supposed to be staged and acted It's not a real life documentary it's a fictional programme with actors in

@NiceGerbil it’s been a horrendous time for TV because of Brexit. So much drama was affected. That’s why it isn’t great at the moment.

I meant to say because of the pandemic, not because of Brexit! Not sure why that came out so mangled.

I just thought its an advert for Amanda Holden, in which she's put her kids, with Keith Lemon. And I think she really thinks we believe she'd have a nan alive; as if she believes this actually could be real. its all a bit screwy.

When Myrtle went on a date and they filmed it for First Dates hotels and he died...omg, it was really funny

The older one has a different surname to her daughter so I assumed it wasn't her

I've watched a few episodes with DD. We both love it. Not keen on AH but the stereotypical Yorkshire nan behaving badly is hilarious. He plays it very well.

Ah, I got it completely wrong. So it's the younger one and the surname is actually correct as it's her husband's name. The first name is the same as in the show (Hollie)
