I avoid anything he’s in usually.

Watched a bit last night. Don’t get it. I thought it was awful. Not funny in any way. Up there with Mrs Browns Boys

I think it’s funny that at age fifty Amanda thinks she’d be young enough to have a living nan, let alone an able bodied one that can come and live with her and get drunk 😂

My dad's grandma only died when he was 56 ... she was 98. And she was perfectly mobile and mentally sound until the last 6 months of her life. And definitely liked a few glasses of wine!

Can’t stand AH, can stand LF even less so was never going to watch. But my Nana is in her 90’s, able bodied (doesn’t drink though) and some of my cousins are almost 50.

I haven't seen the programme, only the trailer and I assumed it was real, because it used Amanda Holden's real name, not a character name.

My Gg died at 98 too actually…at the Bingo, as it goes. But it’s unusual to be that active right to the end, and the character bring okayed is clearly more around the 70/80 mark, not in their nineties.

I saw a trailer for this and thought it was actually her nan, it was only when DH started talking about Leigh Francis' ridiculous new show with Amanda Holden that it clicked

I watched the first episode and half of the second and gave up. One of the worst things I've ever seen. Agree with the poster up thread who said it's right up there with Mrs Brown's Boys - utter unfunny dross.

I don't normally like Amanda Holden but she really takes the mickey out of herself in this show, and the Nan has some funny moments, like the way she keeps comparing Amanda's husband to Les Dennis and saying she preferred him.

I'd rather look at Nigel Farage on Naked Attraction (and I have no wish to see Nigel’s rancid knob) than watch anything featuring Leigh Francis. I hate him so much.

Yeah, I've never been a AH fan because I thought she seemed a bit vain. I was pleasantly surprised at how she takes the mickey out of herself in this and quite like her now.

I thought it was real for about five minutes as AH is under her real name but realised it wasn't. It's still just desperately unfunny IMHO

It’s so weird - AH’s real younger daughter is in it but her older one is played by an actress, she must have said ‘er.. no mum’ like the husband.

I just thought its an advert for Amanda Holden, in which she's put her kids, with Keith Lemon. And I think she really thinks we believe she'd have a nan alive; as if she believes this actually could be real. its all a bit screwy.

AHs mum is only 70...and its only a couple of years since she lost her nan who was in her 90s .....but...that said....its all done tongue in cheek...its just a bit of fun...cantsee why it bothers people so much 🙄
