On a strictly fb group this morning someone was saying that they had spotted Aljaz helping with dance partners school runs!

I quite like Sara but not her style on strictly when glammed up. Is it me or does it age her horribly? She was on ITT and on the VTs with her own hair makeup etc and looks so so much younger. Why are they insisting she had a wig? I don’t get it.

If you have Instagram Sara has put quite a few stories up — fake tan, physio wardrobe etc.

I've seen that on strictly with similar aged women before. Especially in Latin dances. Too old for skimpy itsy bitsy dresses too young for the Anne Widecombe style of dress

Not on Instagram but managed to look without logging in and saw her video of the sewing room before Saturday show. Only two comments came up on page and really funny as both basically saying what cheap sewing machines they were using and even more amazing the make costumes with those machines - I’ve no idea if true or not as no idea on sewing but though interesting insight into the costume dept.

I suppose she’s that in between age maybe then. I think I’m taking it personally as similar age and build and wondering why she styled to look much older. I think it’s the hair that bugs me. Can’t she have short hair to dance? I really like her normal style.

We need to quickly fill this thread before 7 so we have a nice fresh thread for showtime rather than changing horses midstream

I'm (probably) being an idiot and letting my three darlings stay up with me to watch the whole thing. They're 5, 7 and 9. This is definitely going to go well.

We've got popcorn and will have hot chocolate. And probably actual chocolate too.

DH is going out and I can't walk today so this is going to be fun.

Does anyone else find the dream of Hot Chocolate is better than the reality?

Sending DH for for fish and chips. I have a "I don't cook on Saturdays in Strictly season" rule so DH can either cook or get a takeaway and tonight he can't be bothered to cook.

Good hot chocolate requires putting in about twice as much of the chocolate element.

I have had to cook a Stir Fry before the ingredients turned...I wanted chippy.

Why on earth does anyone get a Couples Choice in the first week?

Indeed sooty. It's time for them to stop this Couple's Choice malarkey. I've liked a few of them (Chucky V, Faye, Bill) but otherwise they're horrible. Will be even worse danced in the early days when they've learned nothing.

I think it's because he's got an emotional personal back story behind his CC so really wants to do it, (or TPTB really want him to do it) but he's a rubbish dancer so the only way to be sure he'll be doing it is to do it this week.

We‘ve got popcorn because I made too much for my first ever attempt at Rocky Road.

(The recipe also told me to bash up far too many biscuits but am not snacking on those, they have gone into a tin for my next attempt at Rocky Road )
