Megan's my favourite too!

Chicchicchicchiclana · 21/09/2021 14:41

That was very ugly television last night. I'm so angry that this anonymous letter writing was proposed and someone said "yeah that's a good idea, let's throw those bombs in". How are people supposed to develop a relationship when it's all seen as fodder for a load of strangers to pick over?

The experts infuriate me more than Morag and Franky put together x 10.
As a pp said, this show takes everything that is bad about the world of social media we live in now and uses it for drama.

I can only think Matt and Dan were both quietly thinking "what the fuck are we doing here" at that shambles of a dinner party last night.

How many people cried? How many had a stand up shouting match? How many spoke to their partner like shit?

Ant was surprisingly angry and has indeed been muggy towards Alexis. Ant too - not sure why he got his dander up QUITE so much.

Really not funny.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 21/09/2021 14:42

Sorry, obvs I mean Adam was surprisingly angry and muggy towards Alexis.

JaneJeffer · 21/09/2021 15:10

@Ughmaybenot

Hahaha I’ve just seen an article on Facebook about the photos josh liked of morag’s… they aren’t even of her!! They’re scenery type photos!
Seriously? Grin
StiffyByng · 21/09/2021 15:12

Adam got very upset with Bob, didn’t he?

SheldonesqueTheLazyEyedBstard · 21/09/2021 15:14

Is Mog upset because he has forgotten about liking her bushes ?

That's brilliant @Ughmaybenot!

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 21/09/2021 15:19

Wow that is embarrassing! What is she doing

Ughmaybenot · 21/09/2021 15:20

@SheldonesqueTheLazyEyedBstard

Is Mog upset because he has forgotten about liking her bushes ?
Stoppppp 😂

I had a nose at moggy moo’s insta story earlier, she’s such a plank. Blithering away on her stories saying how she was told to bring it up at the girls day etc… yea you had people sort of on your side but you chose to bring it up again and act crazy over it at the bloody dinner party 🤦🏼‍♀️
That being said, she also shared a screenshot of someone telling her to kill herself, which is beyond vile. Can’t believe people are that involved in a bloody tv show 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ughmaybenot · 21/09/2021 15:21

@JaneJeffer

That's brilliant *@Ughmaybenot*!
Cheered me right up earlier, as you say @JasonMomoasgirlfriend how utterly embarrassing!!
Blossomtoes · 21/09/2021 15:31

@Egghead68

Morag is growing on me.
Wtf? She’s appalling.
MrsToothyBitch · 21/09/2021 15:31

@Chicchicchicchiclana I agree that anonymous letter writing was bad and just for drama

The ONLY thing I can think of in defence of it was that it kept people safe from others- like Alexis or Franky or Amy having a go at them. And Ant- who got surprisingly exercised at Morag.

SheldonesqueTheLazyEyedBstard · 21/09/2021 15:36

If the letters stay anonymous I could see that mrstoothy

I suspect folk will be dumped right in the shite by the ixperts to try to create even more drama.

OP posts:
StiffyByng · 21/09/2021 15:38

See, it’s clearly not as bad as telling someone to kill themselves, but this is why I have an issue with ‘nice guy Bob’ happily tagging women on social media to call them bitches. It’s on the same spectrum.

Egghead68 · 21/09/2021 15:41

@Blossomtoes she kind of is appalling but also I think she is OK.

She does say that she doesn’t want to lead Luke on and has made it clear to him she doesn’t feel the same way he does, but she has to “try” with him as that is the nature of the ixperiment. It’s not her fault.

And it seems she wasn’t going to make anything of the Instagram likes until the producers engineered it.

SheldonesqueTheLazyEyedBstard · 21/09/2021 15:48

And it seems she wasn’t going to make anything of the Instagram likes until the producers engineered it.

But when it all kicked off she should have explained. Instead she fed the drama and lied.

And then cried (allegedly) for sympathy when it went wrong and still ‘spoke her truth’

Which, as I’ve said before, equals speaks pish.

Did Morag actually bring the Instagram thing up again at the dinner party? Or was it Josh? Or someone else?

Ughmaybenot · 21/09/2021 15:53

@Chicchicchicchiclana

Did Morag actually bring the Instagram thing up again at the dinner party? Or was it Josh? Or someone else?
Pretty sure it was morag as josh made a comment that he was wondering when that would come up or something along those lines. May be wrong tho?
Blossomtoes · 21/09/2021 15:55

It was Morag.

MrsToothyBitch · 21/09/2021 15:59

It was Morag.

Bloody hell. Those pics are hardly only fans teaser pics. Just suggests Josh likes a good view!

Ughmaybenot · 21/09/2021 16:05

I’ve liked no end of photos on Instagram based off a certain hashtag or location tag, I wouldn’t have a bloody clue who’s Instagram they were on!
I’m honestly embarrassed for her that she immediately recognised him and soon knew who he was based on him liking a couple of landscape shots and (apparently) messaging her once from a year ago… cringe.

TheQueef · 21/09/2021 16:23

I gave Mog the benefit of the doubt last week thinking she was just a stooge.
It was all her last night, you could see her weighing up now far to take it.
Josh can still fuck off mind, the drama over the pics isn't his fault.

meadowbleu · 21/09/2021 16:41

Can someone educate me please. The screenshots say liked by Josh and how ever many others. Do you search in his likes or something so his name shows? I don't use Instagram.

I listened to the last but one MAFS Lesson podcast earlier, it was with Paul C Brunson. Seriously the more I hear the less I like. He said he isn't allowed to speak about Nikita and why she was removed, he did go on to say she's fiercely loyal though and implied that she kicked off in defence of someone else, not her own situation. Which brings me to the interfering. Most of the aggression and upset wouldn't happen without people interfering in another couple's relationship. But low drama clearly isn't what the team who make the programme want.

Paul referred to 2 million viewers and rivalling Love Island and this is obviously what the public want, but I haven't seen anywhere people saying it's a great programme and how much they're enjoying it, it's more gawping at an accident type of viewing. I suppose they don't care why you watch it though, just that people do.

The third thing I picked up on was how he said keep watching because the people you think are nice aren't and you'll change your mind about the ones you dislike at the start. Out of 8 hours a day filming, they clearly only cherry pick what we think of as the bad bits.

I reckon Franky might come out as the golden boy in the end Confused

JamesWilbysAbs · 21/09/2021 16:51

Anonymous letters? Have the producers no integrity??? It's become a reality game show. The producers have lost sight of the experiment and the programme is worse for it. I've watched every country and series and this one is just trash. The "experts" should be ashamed of themselves presiding over this crap.

I don't watch for fake, generated drama and slanging matches (eg why did Morag have to tell Amy about Josh in front of all the other girls? She could have just let her know quietly.) I thought the programme was supposed to be about the couples' relationships not Big Brother/ Essex group dynamics and group gossip. The more enjoyable series have been about actual, relatable, subtle relationship dynamics.

Nearly all the people are dislikable and most are ill-matched. (Nikita was never going to be a good match for anyone and should never have been allowed on the show). It looks very much to me as if the "experts" picked out a bunch of gobby, argumentative, confrontational, drama-lovers who they thought would make "good telly" and then tried to cobble them together in couples (with a few exceptions).
