Yes Tayah really didn't like any suggestion that there's any issue with her big love story.

I do think Amy's comments came from a place of jealousy but there is a ring of truth to them which hit a nerve with Tayah. But I found her and Adam very confrontational tonight.

I find this show very irresponsible tbh. It's like a lesson in unhealthy relationship dynamics.

I think Amy hit a nerve of truth for the two of them.

We've only seen one hint of disagreement with them and he immediately backed down and got back on script.

There is some truth in what Amy said about admitting when you have an issue, if you're not prepared to speak about it you can't fix it.

I definitely preferred the old style MAFS, when they at least were properly married, never met the other couples, and seemed to actually want to at least give a real relationship a chance.

I'm liking Ant less & less this time round. I don't disagree with what he said to Mog about her attitude to Luke, but I think getting into the middle of her row with Josh & Amy was just about him getting some screen time and was a bit of a pile on tbh.

I don't actually disagree with Morag that Josh is probably still a player, but there was just no need to mention what happened a billion years ago. I think it all got blown out of proportion. Also Amy turns back into a 6 year old any time she has a disagreement with someone. She's quite volatile!

Hope we get a good episode of Marilyse telling Franky to get to fuck soon. He's made suuuuuuch a prick of himself. He also turned on Morag when she called him! There are many faults in Morag but neither she nor Megan (who really needs to be given a break now) are intimidated by Wanky and men of his ilk. I applaud that. Hopefully they'll support Marilyse in getting rid of him.

She said no but I reckon maybe they did. She's certainly always had the measure of Franky. Denying it could simply have been so that everyone was compelled to keep their anonymity & not turn the whole thing into a witch hunt (well Mog & Luke confessed to writing M&Fs, we might as well say we wrote Adam & Tayah's etc. chain reaction of reveals). I don't doubt that she'd actually tell Franky what she thinks if it was more in the open. I don't think she's afraid of him.

I thought it was Megan who wrote Mankys letter. When she was writing hers she said about being uncomfortable in their presence and that was read out by Franky. I assumed it was her letter then. She sees him for what he is.

Just caught up last night's ep. I'm taking huge chunks of it with a pinch of salt (and hate how blatantly scripted it all is). However - Franky and Josh telling their 'wives' to basically shush and not speak when they do? Disgusting. No editing could justify them saying that. Franky especially is coming across as anything but the gentleman he wants people to believe he is. I wonder if his ex wife is watching this and recognising the controlling dickhead side? Didn't he say in ep 1 that his ex was emotionally controlling or something like that? I find that hard to believe seeing how he behaves!!

I dont get why Alexis is telling Ant he's being muggy? He's not wrong, in that he's told her they're friends and that's that. I understand her feeling rejected again, but he's been honest, so I don't really get where she's coming from, apart from being hurt/frustrated.

I think the fact they're there at all? She probably thought they'd at least have a good time. But he was convinced by the producers or something, and is just not interested in her at all. He stayed to stay on telly, not to follow up their flirtation and that's pretty mean and weak.

I think he did like her - he certainly seemed to at the dinner party. I honestly think the issue here is that he's realised how loud and draining she is too, and it has totally put him off her to the extent he doesn't fancy her any more. he has been honest with her, and will clearly write leave at the next opportunity.

I hate how angry he got last night though. He did have some valid points, but seemed to go OTT about it all.

Franky - the way he read his letter in such a sneering/critical/snide way was horrible, it just reinforced what they all suspected. The joke is that he was matched with one of the loveliest people on the programme and she was really into him, and he has been the cause of it all imploding, yet blames everyone else for being critical of them.
I missed the icksperts laughing!! Who were they laughing at, and was it in a lighthearted way or a shocked/incredulous way?!

Why did Tayah and Matt (?) not back up what Ant said re what Morag said (this is getting complicated!), about Morag saying she would have to see ‘day by day’ if someone she fancied dm’d her? Meghan backed Ant up but the other two were there too.

The way franky spoke to marylise was, as ever, vile, but it’s certainly spilling over into the way he speaks to everyone else now. The way he told morag to ‘calm down love, I’m having a bubble’ when she said it wasn’t her who wrote their letter, ironically in the most calm way she’d said almost anything all night… he clearly wasn’t remotely joking and the contempt was just dripping from him.

Yeah I'd say Meg and bob wrote franky and marylises letter, and they wrote Dan and matts letter (they showed a clip of him speaking like shit to her when she was trying to write it). He is so menacing. I would love to have seen more of their interactions outside of the group

Marilyse is fucked. She can't write 'leave'. She's stuck. Her life would probably be in danger if she wrote 'leave'.

Because they have to both say 'leave' or else they both stay. Marilyse would be staying with Franky for another week with Franky knowing that she (in front of everyone) declared that she wants to leave him. We've already seen the reactions from the 'stay'er when just one of the couple writes 'leave'. Most people are angry and hurt and ask to change their answer. Now try to imagine Franky in that role. Scary.

On MAFs lessons the female sex ixpert seemed quite pro Franky and said she thought he was nervous.

I've rewatched it (slow day here) and yes I think it was definitely Megan (and Rob) who wrote it. She's reading aloud and it sounds familiar. For some reason when I thought back I could hear it in Morag's voice in my head- I guess because she's so vocal!

Meg has definitely spotted Franky being wanky though. Meg and Mog seem to have his number. I just hope everyone else does too, and that no matter how their own relationships are going, the men will support and stand up for any woman Franky tries to round on. I think they all see it, just no one has said it. All the cracks in that pairing are from Franky. Shame he can't see that too, and remove himself to a desert island.

Franky is bad news, given how he acts in front of the cameras for all to see I’d hate to know what he’s like behind closed doors. I bet his exes would have stories to tell.

I also agree with @AlphabetStew. Unless Marilyse can engineer a row or do something to push wanky away, saying "leave" if he says "stay" could leave her in for a very nasty week- unless he goes overboard enough to be kicked out, and that's still a huge risk to her. She may feel her best bet is to stick it out to the end of the programme process and tell him she doesn't want to pursue it further.

Either that or if they do have a stay vs leave reveal for the commitment ceremony, she feels strong enough to say "I said leave because I don't feel safe, I refuse to go back with him" and she gets taken seriously- duty of care should ensure that and I think the ixperts would support her after seeing his behaviour. Plus the shit storm if they made her stay in and he hurt her.

I was pleased Nikita was removed, I’m disappointed they haven’t done the same with Franky, it would be nice if at the end of an episode they put up some DA helplines etc
