I've only ever watched one episode, largely because I found him so annoying. Might try again now he's gone.

That's fine with me. I quite like Joe Lycett, but I think Sara Pascoe will be good.

I always found him annoying but this was the final nail in the coffin for me. For balance, BBC style, I should say not everyone agreed

Joe was OK but I still miss Claudia. I think you need a very slightly more empathetic host on these shows. Sue Perkins was the gold standard IMO (nothing wrong with Mel but Sue had an exceptional bond with the contestants).

I prefer him tbh.

Ive seen her on lots of things and her off the cuff remarks aren't my fave, because she's always a bit deadpan. That's kinda her thing. The deadpan response.

I don't think that's a good fit for something that's meant to be sunny and wholesome but Joe definitely adapted his persona to the brief so hopefully she can too.

Whereas Claudia didn't work for me at all because she didn't, and remained too deadpan at all times and just snarked about the room dressed in black.

Thank God for that! I can't stand him presenting!!

I like Sara Pascoe, but I'd have loved to have had Sue or Claudia back!!

He was annoying but I have never liked her in anything she’s done so that’s probably it for me .

Not a huge fan of Sara Pascoe from other things but I wasn't really looking forward to Joe when he took over either so I'm prepared to give her a go!

I am, however, delighted that there is clearly another series though 😀

I actually quite like Sara Pascoe - she's very open about things like being bullied at school and some of the cringy things she did as a teenager. I think she's naturally quite an anxious person so I think she will relate to contestants. I liked Joe's humour and confidence, but I'm ok with Sara.

Just thank god its not Katherine Ryan. I found her so annoying on the jewellery programme.

I prefer Sara to Joe. I found Joe to be too much of an attention seeker, making it more about him than the contestants.
