Not sure who she is but found Joe rather irritating/puerile.

I can't believe people find him witty! That arch, innuendo-laden banter is sooo old-fashioned and tired imo. It's like watered-down Carry On films lines at times!

I don't really know who she is. I've enjoyed Joe on the show.
But mostly I'm still mad at Patrick for what he wore on celeb masterchef and how badly he cooked.

I really enjoyed Joe as a host, so it's a shame to see him go.

Not a fan of either of them tbh.
Liza Tarbuck on the other hand I would watch in anything.

He was just awful but she’s dreadful. Liza Tarbuck is a great idea.

Good. I was forced to watch Sewing Bee as my DC has discovered Joe and wants to watch him in everything. It is all about him (a little like Tom Allen ruined the Apprentice after show) and yes so Carry-on in style. I just dont find him funny most of the time.

Agreed that Liza Tarbuck would be epic.

Not happy. I switch off most programmes she is on. I loved Joe.

Yeah, i wondered if she was hamming it up for comedy but who knows. Most of them had basically no experience and sewing is incredibly hard at first.

I think it's important for the presenter to be a bit clueless. It helps if they have an interest in clothes but their job is to ask the questions for the audience.

The problem is in keeping the presenter at more or less the same level of knowledge as the audience as time goes by. Year on year the average ability of the audience to identify a French seam or Creme Patissiere goes up and up, and a returning presenter presumably learns a lot.

The trick is to acknowledge what we've all learned and not make a meal of explaining what pattern matching is or that you can't correct your mistakes on an overlocker for the seventy-fourth time while still keeping it accessible to new viewers

I liked Joe and find Sara P pretty annoying. She's not that funny.

I imagine it will be March 2022. I think they could be filming a Christmas special now, maybe? They do film the main series early though.
