Yes! The birds tweeting I loved listening to their everyday conversations. It was better than the highlight show.

I’m really pleased to hear that the flying monkeys haven’t gone to town and obviously am even more pleased that people have been supportive.

I am not always perfect and have been fairly harsh with some comments, but I try to be fair.

Engineered/scripted reality tv sold as real does not.

I do wish we had some 'normal' people and by normal I mean not desperate to be on social media/TV. I really liked the early days of MAFSUK with the train guard, accountants, nurses etc.

Alexis, for example, is totally playing up to get camera time. It's tedious!

But the ad revenue from this show must be amazing. There's almost more adverts than footage so you'd think C4 would want it on in the expensive weekend slots.

It's a fair distance from Brighton, a good 3 hour round trip and longer in heavy traffic (and the traffics always heavy in Brighton). I wonder how they all get there? If it's a coach or minibus I'd much rather watch unedited footage from that journey than the scripted bollocks they show us.

I rewatched series 5 today for a bit of gritty, lockdown MAFS

It all just feels so budget doesn’t it.
And feels like their trying to emulate the Australian show so have got the dinner parties, commitment ceremonies, and boys and girls nights out… but missed out the actual couples bit. Feels like they haven’t got enough cameramen and then no ones ever with the couples filming them. I even miss the little bits in the taxi on the way to the dinner!
I was really looking forward to this having mostly liked the last Aussie one (tho it did go on too long and get tedious) and am really disappointed ☹️

That is a heck of a trip. They have shown footage of them travelling in cars on the motorway (one car per couple). I don’t think they’d send them altogether in a minibus because they won’t want them meeting when they’re not being filmed.

Who knows if their numbers are real, or whether those kinds of numbers are "normal". My number's probably pretty high - I was so glenfor most ofy youth and o had a good time. I never counted though, and wouldn't hazard a guess. It doesn't even matter. It's not an important part of a person. Declaring a ball park never is a want thing to do.

Also, what would those men think if the women were all declaring their numbers as 50, 80 or over 100? My guess is they'd judge th pretty harshly and struggle to hide their disgust. There's still a ridiculous societal pressure on men to have a huge number and women to have a small number. Stupid.

I’m so past caring that I’m almost not quite uncaring about spoilers. I’ll be so amazed if ANY of the couples are still together in a year or 2. Altho I suppose there’s probably not the same spoiler risk/opportunity as when watching the Aussie one since this must be more recent.
