National television awards anyone watching ?

Didn't see a thread but I'm watching.

Very moved by the review of the time since the last awards and being reminded of the amazing shows that have been on.

Really hoping unforgotten and it's a sin get awards

I've never seen a single episode of line of duty yet. Not that I think it wouldn't be a good show I have personal reasons for not doing so but I will when I'm up to it.

I'll admit I was hoping unforgotten would get it, fantastic show. Now hoping it'll get one of the other awards. I hate when in an awards ceremony the awards mostly go to same show but I fear that may happen tonight.

I've never seen a single episode of Line of Duty either, it just doesn't appeal. Same as Call the Midwife.

I've seen 4 or 5 series of call the midwife but again it can be a tough watch at times.

I think I maybe with the more hard to watch shows I need to NOT binge watch them but watch them as we used to one or maybe 2 episodes a week, I've loads of this is us to catch up on too

Stopped watching bake off when Matt joined after Sandi left.

Can't stand Matt and also pissed off its now THREE men and only one - misogynistic - woman on a bloody home baking show!!

Appalled at that decision there are TONS of female presenters who would do a MUCH better job

Ooh you really should see it's a sin if you can. It's utterly heartbreaking but it's an amazing piece of work! Such an important story to tell.

Also check out the threads on here those of us "watching together" and some of us like me with memories of treating aids patients at that time. Well early 90's for me.

Many of the younger posters watching were shocked at how those infected or even "just" gay were treated back then.
