I don’t think he was that wooden before either. Only explanation is that they’ve replaced the actor with a puppet - which explains the glued on Lego hair.

Tim and the breakfast sauce debate was good - that’s the kind of hard hitting discussion of the issues I expect from Corrie

I think the hairstyle covers some brain transplant. He hasn't an entire new head, just personality surgery. We need a massive gas explosion to kill off annoying people.

At one time (see classic corrie) the actors spoke the words and lived the character (Dierdre was one of the best at that) and interacted correctly with the other characters. It is not a monologue learned by rote - it is dialogue

^^ This a million times! I've been trying to figure out why certain characters are so bloody boring... they 'monologue' all their lines.

I couldn’t take the dad from The Kumars seriously as Mr Big Threatening Money Launderer. I kept expecting Meera Syal to come in wearing her granny make-up.

Zeedan was always sulky and sneery, i was glad when he left. Not looking forward to the criminal activity in speed daal, and all the hand wringing afterwards. Then more court and prison scenes no doubt.

Alya's hair is divine. I doubt she dyes it. A lot of South Asian women are blessed with that gorgeous glossy and thick hair.

I think Jenny is one of those people who get more attractive with age.

Jenny hasn't changed much over the years. I remember needs as Ritas foster daughter in her teens. She's still easily recognisable.
