Am I the only one thinking Wethy County would not touch Corey with a bargepole, despite a not guilty verdict? It’s not like he’s a huge star who has cost them a massive transfer fee; he’s a youth teamer without a first team appearance to his name. Realistically he’d have been very quietly left to rot in the reserves until they found a reason to end his contract.

I think his dad is the reason Corey has made the first team. I get the impression he's always bribing someone to get him or his son ahead in the world.

I never want to hear Summer say the words 'personal statement' ever again. Considering it has been incredibly urgent for ages to get it finished, she's not half dragging it out.

When I say something needs to be urgently completed, I mean by close of play today, possibly tomorrow at a push.

Quite frankly, I don't care about the world's longest personal statement or where Summer goes to university. As long as she goes.

Why would she do a Zoom call re a personal statement in a cafe? Surely you'd want to do it somewhere quiet.

In real life, the deadline for an application to Oxford is 15th October. Let's see if she sticks to that!

Though I guess we'll then have the interview/entrance exam woes!
