Th Experts are arseholes and I am getting angrier and angrier with them, their ridiculous scripted soundbites, the one with pink hair who doesn't say anything but just nods along, the terrible terrible wig! I dislike them so much - their lack of honesty and sincerity and their self-congratulatory attitude to making nonsensical pairings - that it's distracting me from what I actually think of the contestants.

It was fairly obvious from that one episode that Jordan is a knob from the Josh school of knobs.

I really enjoy chatty threads about tv programmes. Like a PP said, it's like sitting on a sofa and talking with friends. So, it's a bit of a bugbear of mine when someone just waltzes in to thread, doesn't read a single post, and just posts her own contribution. It's rude. It's like someone walking in to the living room and interrupting the conversation with something that the rest of us covered an hour ago.

I thought Tayha's mum was understandably concerned and there will have been no contact with family in the lead up to the wedding so she genuinely wouldn't have known if she was coming or not. I think the chat was ok, nice and neutral and basically saying 'be sensible ,you've got to come out after this and don't do anything you'll regret.'

Dh and I were talking and there's no way we'd agree to go on telly and support ds if he decided to do this, we'd consider we'd failed massively. I imagine that's what her mum felt too especially as she'd just been through a dreadful break up and divorce.

I watched the clip again and I think it's more like this... but perhaps I wouldn't have said it mid reception dinner, within ear shot of my daughter?

@Roberta268 - the point I badly was trying to suggest was that the real gf was likely in on it or she was told sooner as keeping it so quiet until 48h before his debut seemed unlikely... although more stuff is popping up suggesting she really wasn't. Poor girl.

I totally get where tayahs mum was coming from ... I have DDs in their 20s and I would HATE them to do something like this. I’d go to it, reluctantly, but I wouldn’t be over the moon.

Jesus wept. This programme is a total work of fiction now isn't it. I don't believe any of them are genuinely interested in building a successful marriage.

And even if they were, being deliberately mismatched to get better ratings isn't going to help them.
