I was so looking forward to this but I think I'm switching off. The experts should be embarrassed, they're deliberately putting people together for the drama. I'm fed up of the Instagram clones. Time they were all put out to pasture.

It's just like bloody x factor, don't care if you can sing, do you have a backstory? We don't care if it's bad boy/girl, family grief etc

Legally it can't be a real wedding though...the couple can't give notice or anything.

It's just like the Australian one and tbh, I love it just for the drama

I used to work on BGT. The producers used to interview the contestants like this;

P: ‘So what inspires you to sing?’
C: ‘Um, I just really love it and-
P: ‘Did your Nan used to love hearing you sing?’
C: ‘I think so when I was little but she died a few-
P: ‘Oh my god no, that’s so sad, she died before she saw you achieve your dreams! That’s so awful. So you sing for her really don’t you?’

And things like ‘are your parents divorced?’ ‘Did you have a childhood illness?’ ‘Have you had a break-up?’ ‘Did you enjoy school?’

They ask it all. They’ll wheedle something out even if it’s only a dead hamster.

I think they're locked into a pretty tight contract otherwise they'd all just up and leave when they got pissed off.

A few years ago a nice contestant on the UK one was on MN answering questions ,she came across as really nice and said lots was left of the editing floor .

Also, SPOILERS AHEAD ...... Jordan from last night's episode had a gf since university and left her to go on the show, got back with her after filming, didn't tell her anything about it until 2 days before it aired.

I've just caught up. Tayah's mum is terrifying! I get that she has doubts and worries about the process and I also appreciate that editing might have done her no favours but her chat with Adam almost suggested she was willing them to fail! Also why is Tayah's insta full of pics suggesting she's part panda 🐼 ? It's quite the make-up fail. I also feel like her groom- sweet though he is, perhaps lacks the life experience for a show like this. Perhaps they should've paired him up with fairy-tale princess Megan, the other relationship

Pandayah has also been through the mill- like Amy. I hope she's actually moved on enough for this.

Jordan and Alexis... tumbleweed. That tweet revealing his real gf is shocking. I hope he's now an ex. Also impressed that he kept it from her until a couple of days ago. There was pre publicity on social media and in mags & tabloids online a few weeks ago. Either no one he knows reads the news in any form at all or literally everyone was in on it except his gf- like the Truman show.

Just reread that- not impressed at Jordan deceiving his gf/ex more... wondering how he kept it quiet for so long until it aired. Crap choice of word, sorry!

I thought Tayha's mum was understandably concerned and there will have been no contact with family in the lead up to the wedding so she genuinely wouldn't have known if she was coming or not. I think the chat was ok, nice and neutral and basically saying 'be sensible ,you've got to come out after this and don't do anything you'll regret.'

Dh and I were talking and there's no way we'd agree to go on telly and support ds if he decided to do this, we'd consider we'd failed massively. I imagine that's what her mum felt too especially as she'd just been through a dreadful break up and divorce.
