Tired of sifting my way through the old thread. Let's chat here about this week's happenings...

Craig maybe a little less caustic due to his participation in celebrity masterchef - so knows what it is liked to be judged now???

Do you think that Karen and Philip "thingy" who does the interactive service are being lined up to take over as judges if anyone decides to drop out? Obviously Karen has a higher profile on ITT this year as she was out in the first round but I just wondered as they intoduced Philip to the viewers.

Could be PTA where did they get him from? I missed a few shows then he appeared on the sofa with Karen as if he was an old hand?!

SueBa- Arlene drives me nuts too with her pompous soundbites -she must spend all her time thinking of (not-so)clever words to spout instead of watching the dancers!!

Philip Jackson was on last year too though, on ITT and doing the red button thingy.

Aha didn't watch it all last year!

I think that last year he was only on every so often, he didn't have a regular 'slot' like he does this year, but I may be wrong.

He appears to be an old-hand and well known in dancing circles. If a remember into the very dim and distant past, I'm sure I remeber his name on the original "Come Dancing". Well not the original, original one but the one they revived with Angela Ripon and I think Michael Aspel.

BTW, I know we still have a few weeks to go, but who do you want to see next year? Will it be repeated next year? How about a dance off between the USA winner and the winner of this series? Or even a competition for all previous series winners?

Oh yes he did so well in Dancing on Ice (another vote-off diaster) but I think he'd be too over-quaified for SCD wouldn't he as he's one so much theatre work & a lot of musicals.

I also wondered about Karen as a potential future judge - I think she has shown a bit of a tougher side on ITT. I have really enjoyed the technical bit that they have been doing and thought Erin was particularly good this week - love the details.

John Barrowman seemed lovely but I guess if he has already done the ice thing that's a no-go. I can never come up with a potential line - would never have picked Stephanie Beacham but thought she was hilarious.

I'm still drooling over John Barrowman! I wish I'd known he was on Dancing on Ice. Strictly is the only thing that I watch on a regular basis.

As BBC newsreaders didn't field a candidate this year, how about Kate Silverton? Sportsmen seem to do quite well but I'm not well enough up on any sport to suggest anyone.

How about Lewis Hamilton or Richard Hammond?!

Gethin is a total stud-muffin in my humble opinion. I think he will make the final now and might even win. Flavia and Matt seem to be having a mare this week.
I don't want a dance off with the US winner or anything as we haven't seen their journey so I don't care about them.
