Tired of sifting my way through the old thread. Let's chat here about this week's happenings...

Just joining this thread - feeling mightly cheesed off because my Sky + didn't record it so I've been watching it this morning on you tube and BBC. But it's still not the same.

I thought that the tango's were all a little lack lustre - but then for me nothing beats Mark & Karen's tango in lat years semi finals.

I'm a Matt fan despite the fact he keeps mucking it up. I love a good underdog! Or maybe it's a younger man thing...?

Don't understand the marking. Thought Alesha's quickstep was amazing and out of all the dances that was the one which deserved 4 10s. Bruno gave Matt 8 last week for that foxtrot, but then gave Gethin an 8 for his paso last night. How were those dances of the same standard? Seemed to me that Matt was getting marks just for turning up and finishing a routine. Fair enough, he and Flavia were good, but they weren't that good. Loved both Gethin's dances - all that aggression. Grrrr! And also liked it when his shirt came open a bit more! Shallow? Not me.

yes, the boy just stood there whilst the gorgeous Flavia did her thing around him. Including that breath-taking dismount! And yes, I'm glad it wasn't just me - the Argentine tangoes just seemed so slow, and certainly Matt's has a modest amount of tango steps to it.

The tangoes were quite smouldering but I agree not a patch on Karen and Marks last year.

Just becasue Gethin is going out with Katherine Jenkins, that doesn't mean anything.

I didn't think that any of the dances were that special last night. Not compared to some of the others this series.
And I agree that Matt was overmarked, just for turning up - LOL jsgirl and DeePan

Gethin gone ? . It was a tough decision for the judges, there was not a lot in it, but I do wish it was a Gethin/Alesha final

LOL - just seen her in full! I missed the beginning and thought the top of her dress was quite nice but seeing the whole thing I'm glad to see normal service has resumed
