So what's your LEAST favourite episode of Friends?

Seeing as the friends love episode is blossoming.......

Any worst episode? Worst scenes? Worst characters?

My least favourite season is the one after Ross say Rachel at the altar. The whole season just seems tainted by both him and her going slightly bonkers/ off the rails.

I didnt love the weird layout issues with Ross' apartment and hallway (the kitchen goes into the blocks hallway?!)

Cant think of a cameo I didnt like, I know Brad Pitt wasnt universally loved.

I always skip the flashback ones. Not the ones that flashback to pre-TV show, but the ones that flashback to earlier parts in the series. Feels lazy.

I don’t really have any that I dislike, just less bothered but with some funny bits.
Character wise I didn’t like Mark.... I feel like he fancied Rachel and the way he interacted with her in front of Ross was out of line. Didn’t like janine either....

I don't like the flash back ones, especially anything featuring Monica in her fat suit. It's uncomfortable viewing and would never get made today.

The one where Rachel has an interview in a restaurant and her current boss is sitting behind her-too cringe for me!

I also hate Janice!

The One Where Joey Speaks French. I really feel that they “dumbed down” his character in the later seasons. Nobody could believe he thought he was imitating Phoebe when she was teaching him the language.

I think a number of these were to get around the actors being unavailable - Matthew Perry being in rehab, for one.

It's just excruciating to watch, even Phoebe couldn't save that.

Brad Pitt’s acting in that episode was ABYSMAL!

The episode I absolutely can't watch is the shark porn episode. You catch your husband wanking, see a shark programme on the telly and think that's what he's turned on by rather than he's quickly turned the channel over? Just too stupid.

And the worst character has to be Janine 🙄

Most of them tbh - the series has not aged well at all IMO

I've never been a big fan but the last few years were very bad. I think the worst episode was when Monica had frizzy hair because they were somewhere humid and, that wasn't funny enough, she had them braided and had sea shells in them. Now, I'm already dying from the ensuing hilarity but then she shakes her hair and makes a clacking sound. On top of all that drama, Rachel and Joey are getting together which was bad enough. It was 'the one where they had jumped the shark and had no more ideas'.

Oh God absolutely! I think I blanked that one as it was so bad.

Didnt help that at the time I worked the desk at a hotel and was like "no way could they just give a non guest a copy of his room key"

When they were all saying how gross it was that Ben was breastfed and how unimaginable breastfeeding was, I didn't even breastfeed either of mine and it was years before I had kids but I was like what is wrong with a woman feeding her baby from the body she just grew it from?!
