So what's your LEAST favourite episode of Friends?

Seeing as the friends love episode is blossoming.......

Any worst episode? Worst scenes? Worst characters?

My least favourite season is the one after Ross say Rachel at the altar. The whole season just seems tainted by both him and her going slightly bonkers/ off the rails.

I didnt love the weird layout issues with Ross' apartment and hallway (the kitchen goes into the blocks hallway?!)

Cant think of a cameo I didnt like, I know Brad Pitt wasnt universally loved.

I always skip the flashback ones. Not the ones that flashback to pre-TV show, but the ones that flashback to earlier parts in the series. Feels lazy.

I get really annoyed when Joey eats the last bit of biscuit when Monica and Phoebe are trying to figure out the recipe 😂

The last one. Getting Rachel and Ross back together in that way just felt off really contrived and forced. The spark had disappeared between them.

The one where Phoebe's boyfriend shoots a bird.
Also not a fan of the wedding to Emily aftermath.

The one with Phoebe trying to get tickets for a Sting concert via Ben's classmate.

All of the flashback episodes.
Any where Joey and Rachel were romantic together!
The Paper Snow A Ghost episode in i believe season 10, peak dumbing down of Joey's character.

It’s true what a pp said, though - you couldn’t watch the episodes again and again at the drop of a hat in those days (how quaint that sounds now!) so it was sometimes a treat to see repeats of funny scenes.

I didn’t like the pivot episode. Agree the hand twin was just weird and unfunny.

Yes strangely lots of people find pivot hilarious but it’s always left me completely cold. Funny how these things can be seen so differently!

Any with Rachel's sisters.

The holiday armadillo one. And similarly when Ross dresses up as sputnik

The one when no one is ready. Makes me edgy seeing them all avoid and resulting Ross anxiety !

Ross is Fine - peak cringe. Not helped by such a stupid storyline in general.

Also, the one where they lose the baby on the bus makes me so anxious. Its horrible.The thought of losing someone's child.. oh my god. And even by the end, they're still not sure... brrr!

I also hated that season OP. Ross really annoyed me.

The one with Danny Devito as the stripper. That was awful!

I'm watching most of them for the first time. I think the genius of the show is that it caters for a wide spectrum of humour. I don't like slapstick, exaggerated visual humour, so a lot of the Ross episodes leave me cold. Also OTT Monica. But I appreciate the smart come-backs and wry one-liners. Overall the writers are brilliant and the cast's comic timing is always spot on.

I hate it when it goes all-sentimental, schmalzy and Hollywood so my worst episodes all involve the Ross/Rachel tease and they are my least favourite characters.

I hate Rachel and Joey. Also hate that they made Joey so stupid.
Matt Le Blanc was best in Episodes- gorgeous and funny.
I didn't fancy him at all on Friends. I also thought he seemed the most normal and down to earth on the reunion.

I thought so too. He was relaxed and at ease throughout.

The ones where Joey and Rachel fall for each other. Just felt really unbelievable and lazy plotting.

Ah thanks for the mention of my thread on favourite episode :) currently watching the one where Rachel loses Marcel. I can't stand that episode or any with Marcel to be honest lol! "Monica, it's Louisa"....

In TOW noones ready they had ran out of budget so had them all in one set to save money
