Anyone watching this season?

How are you finding the new judges with all new contestants? I find it rather refreshing from the other 3 judges.

Who do you think will win?

I'm watching. I'm not up to speed as been on holiday. I love this show! So far I think Elise or Therese will win.

I'm thinking one of the guys will win. The one with the Scottish husband is really good. I'm surprised I'm completely up to date this season, I'm usually a good week etc behind lol

I'm watching, I'm only a couple of episodes behind. Not sure who's going to win, but I have to say I really like these three judges.

Yeah I'm really liking the judges, I didn't think I would because I was used to the others but I do like the fact Andy was a contestant so he's been there and knows what the judges are looking for.

I thought I heard Andy was a contestant but I've seen every series and I don't remember him at all Confused Clearly he didn't make much of an impression on me. I daren't Google because I'll find out the result!

Currently watching episode 13, so I'll be only two behind.

Lol I was gonna watch the early seasons on prime but never bothered. I do remember 5 though as the cooks were utter shite! And I thought it was hilarious but then when I watched 6 I realised they do have serious cooks.

I also really enjoyed back to win last year but felt sorry for Laura who came second again.

They don't feel like new judges anymore as this is sort of their second season

I used to like Andy when he was a contestant but I thought there were some others more likely to come back as judges

They were genius in planning last years so that the new judges were surrounded by familiar contestants - to let the audience get to know the new judges but still feel 'connected' to the old show.

This year they don't feel like new judges anymore - just a continuation from last year - so the Masterchef Australia vibe has remained.

I like Mel and Jock, although from what. I can make out from what has been said about his autobiography, he's a bit of a fantasist and user. I think Andy is essentially the fluffer. I've watched the whole series and found it a slow burn in terms of warming to the contestants.
What drove/drives me mad is the bloody awful 'Australian interrogative'. They go up not just at the end of the sentence but after every word, lamb?, garlic? Basil? hibachi grill? It just can't bear it.

I watched the whole series here in Australia and was lucky enough to be invited to one of the restaurant challenges! A friend is also friends with the producer.

A bit. There were a couple of snap lockdowns during filming. They went on a lovely trip.

I know obviously they had to stop going out last season but it got very boring just watching them in the kitchen all the time.
