Not too fussy on genre (though not too keen on comedy) but it has to have:
- excellent script and storyline
- believable characters that I can become emotionally invested in,
- including if possible a heroic but slightly flawed male character that can become my new obsession
Series I've loved:
- Breaking Bad
- The Handmaid's Tale
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Line of Duty
- Fleabag
- Firefly
- True Detective
- Criminal
Latest obsessions were The Vampire Diaries
and Hannibal. Loved them!
Series I couldn't finish:
- Outlander: I so wanted to love this and I did enjoy the first two series but I stopped watching after a few episodes of series 4, it just seemed to get a bit dull.
- This is Us - too schmaltzy and tbh I just couldn't get past them being able to just walk out of the hospital with a random baby. Vampires I can suspend reality for.. This not so much.
- Homeland - watched the first episode but found it a bit dull - does it get better?
- Bridgerton - not sure how, but lasted until episode 6.
- Greys Anatomy - watched a few episodes but just didn't connect with it.
Have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney. Any help would be most appreciated!
