I've usually fastforwarded through anything that involves the Dingles but for reasons unknown I've watched the last few episodes in their entirety. Zak and Cain are really horrible - trying to muscle in on building work when neither of them is an actual builder and wrecking Sid's van because he has the nerve to get it on with Angie. Sorry Cain, you were a lowlife skank back in those days.

That's a relief @JaneJeffer as I thought my Sky+ had gone wrong. I settled down with my coffee and Hallowe'en leftovers ready for a nice hour's nostalgia only to get half an hour.

Laurel is so batshit I'm surprised she can co-ordinate breathing in/out though they introduced Lydia as a batshit professional cleaner too and she calmed down.

Cain really was an obnoxious thug in the old days. Rather ironic that he's now in prison for something he didn't even do.
Attractive men have been rather thin on the ground in Emmerdale over the years. I think my favourite was the late lamented Frank.
