It was nice to have two episodes today that did not feature Gloria, Eric and their boring election storyline.

I'm fast forwarding through all of the Gloria and Eric crap.

Cain is revolting and I hate how he's being horrible to Syd just because he's going out with Angie. He had his chance with Angie and it's over. I wish Syd would just tell Mac and Angie what Cain's doing.

Dingles in general get on my wick - in Classic and nowadays so I tend to whizz through their scenes. What with them and all the election stuff, I'm getting through an episode in about 10 minutes 😃

When he came downstairs and then Andy and Robert looked to see who was coming downstairs and they cut abruptly to the next scene before Diane appeared. It just seemed like it had been badly edited. I know they sometimes cut bits out that are unacceptable in 2022 (for the snowflakes) so I just wondered what it was.

Ah, thanks. When Jack came downstairs in his fetching dark red dressing gown, I fully expected Diane to follow him.

Sometimes in the afternoon I have a tendency to fall asleep during Emmerdale.

Is that the last we'll see of the Pollards and the electioneering as that's been the most boring thing I've seen in a long time.
