@QueenBee52 yes she was and she dominated whole hour. She showed such a lack of self-awareness. And no one tried to calm her down. Someone should have stepped in (by which I mean the producers, given that none of the residents did. ) Not nice viewing at all.

I suspect following Dale's attempt at calling out her hypocritical behaviour.. and her vicious verbal attack.. I suspect they were cautious.. she clears a room just walking in 😳

PumpkinKlNG · 07/08/2021 01:27

And a lot of them were actually smirking in the background, I wonder if they enjoyed it tbh, took the heat off them certainly.

They are the best bit!

I'd rather give the 50K to Lloyd the parrot!

You could be right and she probably does intimidate the rest of the islanders... But - I'd like to think that if I were in that situation as a fellow 20-something (and I'm early 40s now so possibly well out of touch) I'd at least have had the balls to try to take her to one side and try to calm her down...

She should have been removed from the Villa .. 🌸

IsabellesMissingSock · 07/08/2021 02:05

Yes @QueenBee52. If she'd been a bloke she almost certainly would have been

Lampzade · 07/08/2021 03:32

@Dancingonmoonlight

She knew what Tyler was like but she wanted to feel like she won by getting him to chase her and get him back from the other girl. She knows he’s a faithless dick and doesn’t care

Yes! Kaz also sidled up to Faye tonight. They showed them walking together. Faye was awful again tonight and she has been awful many times previously. She does need anger management IMO and I also think If Kaz had behaved liked that and someone mentioned she needed anger management, some posters would jump in and say she was being portrayed as an aggressive black woman when really she was just being a strong woman etc.

Both women are hypocrites and treat people badly. Faye needs to be removed from the villa. It’s uncomfortable viewing and it must be very tense in the villla.

You are obsessed with Kaz. Stop if ffs
Lemonsandlemonade · 07/08/2021 03:46

I liked Chloe thought she came across well when talking to Liberty.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 07/08/2021 04:07

Yes agreed that that made for uncomfortable viewing. I also agree the producers should have taken her to one side. Instead they gave it the lion's share of the airtime. Maybe she does intimidate the girls but they know her well enough to look after her. I felt that when they all cleared the kitchen and went and sat in a row to watch the drama - one of them could have tried to save her from herself - instead the producers made it the main spectacle. She is clearly struggling as I think her reaction was hugely out of proportion to the 'crime' (not saying teddy is totally innocent either)

I think that the Liberty / Jake issue is as much of a big deal. He did nothing to reassure her. The fact that one of the 'best' things he could come up with was 'I made you my girlfriend' speaks volumes. Like he is almost doing her a favour and that she should be grateful. And egging the boys on- Own your shit behaviour Jake! His lack of care and attention towards her and complete absence of any emotional maturity really showed tonight. Agreed - Chloe was quite insightful but as others have said, she was so upset with the first video she didn't move on to really see what Chloe (and faye) were saying.

Suzi888 · 07/08/2021 04:50

Faye came across as ….. insane. Producers should’ve pulled her out. You could hear her gob all over the villa, she wanted everyone to hear. She’s been looking for an excuse to pick a fight with Teddy for awhile. All she wants is her Instagram following (as they all do).

I was confused by what Teddy said in the clip (and at the time) about Clarisse being ‘dangerous’. It’s an odd thing to say imo and doesn’t come across well.

Kaz has plummeted in my estimation, she’s awful. Running around after Faye, the way she used Matt, the smirking, she thinks she’s amaze balls.

Jake is a dick.

Has been the worst lv series ever! Can’t imagine who will win. I’d probably say Chloe and Toby at this stage.

londonscalling · 07/08/2021 05:05

Anyway, I can't remember Teddy's sandals. What was so awful about them? I really need a photo if anyone can help! Grin

QueenBee52 · 07/08/2021 05:12

He meant Clarisse was a temptation to him therefore dangerous for him to get too close too.. remember he said he couldn't trust himself sharing a bed with her so slept alone outside.. as his heart was with Faye 🌸

CarpyDiem · 07/08/2021 06:58

It's quite simple - Faye was so abusive to so many people that I simply do not want to watch her again

I never liked her (check back in the threads - I'm not gaslighting!)

And yes, we should have seen more of Chloe talking to Liberty - she was doing good work there, and it would have been more interesting to see how Liberty is dealing with her (growing?) concerns and whether we will, ever actually see Jake be nice to and about her.

Instead we got repetitive shouting. Dull. The opposite of drama really - just noise.

It's a pretty standard brush off line - a variant of 'it's not you, it's me'
66babe · 07/08/2021 06:59

I agree @lemonsaretheonlyfruit - if that was one of the lads screaming swearing and being like that to several of the girls , I am sure a producer would have stepped it ... She has completely showed herself up there , terrible behaviour

Im still searching for a pic of Teddy's sandals

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/08/2021 07:01

@jessyjo2

Is anyone else really concerned about Faye here? That was just awful. Surely producers should have taken her off site to calm her down. Her mental health needs attention. Would they have stepped in if a guy was going that to a girl? Poor Teddy, hope he finds love elsewhere. Not enjoyable viewing at all.
Agreed. Her behaviour was awful. However, it was totally predictable reaction considering her temperament. Totally irresponsible of the team. I have complained to Ofcom about the manipulation for ratings and mentioned the vetting procedures / mental health pledges.
bibliomania · 07/08/2021 07:05

Teddy could have shagged every Islander along with the camera crew and every member of the production crew twice over and still didn't deserve to be treated like that by Faye. It was abuse.

Bedsheets4knickers · 07/08/2021 07:08

I didn't think he said dangerous . I thought he said I don't trust you ??? And Faye changed it to I don't trust myself around you .
I could be wrong , I never get to watch the show in peace .
What is telling is that I normally rewatch a show in the morning and last nights one was so traumatic I never want to put myself through it again .

CarpyDiem · 07/08/2021 07:08

If a man had behaved like her, would we be saying he should be off site to preserve his mental health. Or would it just be a case of get him out, to preserve everyone else's wellbeing, and send him on an anger management course before he hits someone.

There has been too much airtime of something that should lead to removal from the show

Blamelesscars · 07/08/2021 07:33

The Jake Liberty situation is just as problematic I’ve always said Jake is no good but his behaviour was awful! First thing he did should be to check Liberty was ok but no. She even had to pull him for a chat. It’s clear he’s 100% not genuine he’s just manipulating her.

I really really hope she’s strong enough to see that

Voguebrogue · 07/08/2021 07:53

I feel bad for liberty that the villa was so consumed by Faye that no one had the time to comfort her and see if she was okay, even jake was more preoccupied with himself. I think she was proper hurt by the first clip, and the second would have been shocking to see that side of someone if you didn't expect it.

CarpyDiem · 07/08/2021 07:58

Chloe was talking to Liberty - I wish we'd seen more of that, because it seemed her advice was good (and sympathetic, and she was talking in a pretty normal voice) and it looked as if Liberty was really thinking.

I'd like to see more of that - not least because it was one of the rare chats about a relationship that wasn't full of 'where your head's at' and other phrases that seem to be used to replace what might be real insight. Something that we came close to seeing in that exchange.
