9pm Channel 4.
New series with 3 different female well known actresses.

Am watching this because it just came on and came on here to see if there was a thread.

What is it actually about? Is Suranne Jones character mentally unwell?

So far she looks stressed out because of the demanding knob heads around her.

I find Suranne Jones really difficult to watch, so much heavy nose breathing, it's very distracting

I dunno, she seems irritatingly self obsessed to me so far. But in a she’s not well kinda of way.

I thought the sister was awful and winding her up but now she is behaving very strangely. It’s all very stressful! I missed the beginning though so maybe a back story.

It's really annoying, it's touted as a female centred drama but it's written by a man and is presenting the main character in a very negative light, is this his experience of women? It's horrible

Shaky camera isn’t doing it for me either

Really stressful to watch she's definitely having some sort of stress induced anxiety breakdown

It’s classic male writer writing women badly isn’t it. 10 mins to go and yet to have any kind of point either.

Very intense edge of seat.

I missed the first five minutes. The sister was awful, I’d have lost it with her as well.
She is having a breakdown?

It's just supposed to be 1 hour stand alone episodes with various issues mental heath etc. Or other life issues at a time in their lives.

Turned off - need something a bit more cheery and light-hearted thanks!

Another finding it hard to watch also

You can tell it’s a male writer. Oh the man is oh so reasonable blah blah.

Oh god

Don’t worry guys nothing happened in the first five minutes either. Just a montage of her faffing around her perfect house doing an early morning workout, taking a cold shower and doing her perfect hair whilst doing lost of angsty staring and random emoting.

I think Suranne Jones is a fabulous actor and is doing her best with this but the writing and direction is poor.

She did try but that was a load of crap!

I didn’t like it. It had great potential but it just didn’t work as it could have. I had really high hopes as I thought I Am Kirsty, with Samantha Morton, from the first series was outstanding.

Waste of an hour IMO

There was no point to it.
