9pm Channel 4.
New series with 3 different female well known actresses.

*husband seems to do bugger all and won't even get up to make a nice breakfast on Saturday morning.

Again, it was an extremely good depiction of a two speed marriage. She wants her daughters to have the things she didn't have, and understands sacrifices have to be made in the here and now, but her husband isn't willing to recognise that reality. He pays lip service to it, but in the moment, he's not willing to let it get in the way.*

I didn't get that at all. He just wanted a more relaxed way of life and to enjoy each other's company. She chose to get up at 6 on a Sunday to make that breakfast which she didn't eat with them. She would have been a complete nightmare to live with but he still cared about her. Her dinner party was all about showing off, when the guests started talking about what they had been doing she lost interest completely.

After enjoying the first series, I settled down to watch the first two episodes of this series.

Put simply.

I am … Bored.

I've just seen I am Victoria and I'm crying.i thought it was amazing. I've been in that place before, and she depicted the mental pain so well. The inability to let go. I recently found out I am autistic, and wondered whether that was the 'assessment' that was mentioned at the end?

I think it was the start of counselling for anxiety.

It was interesting that she displayed lots of autistic behaviours, such as practising for social events, and not wishing to be touched when anxious. But anxiety is a big component of autism.

I've just watched this and found it very triggering, made me cry. It was like watching my own mental health episodes through a one way mirror. Thought the acting was amazing, the end was a bit too Disney but understand there are time constraints on the episode.
