Well done Jacob for managing to keep it together until you got outside the door.

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 19:05

But would he catch a grenade for you Vic?

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 19:10

Smart?

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 19:13

I hate when a couple have kissed and someone else presumes they have had sex and they don't say they haven't. It's happened so much lately on Emmerdale.

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 19:27

Yes I have been affected. I don't think I can take much more of this shite.

PrincessScarlett · 14/09/2021 19:48

It's a worrying state of affairs when even @JaneJeffer has had enough! 🤣

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 20:09

Honestly it's so bad. The last time it was this bad was the Jackson story.

Ellenanora7 · 14/09/2021 20:59

Complete and utter crap

Don't know what else to say really

Yep; that well known soap cliche where if a simple explanation would clear up a misunderstanding then you must avoid it at all costs.

It's like the current writers are on work experience as part of a course on writing for soaps. See also: hiding in plain sight while eavesdropping, shouting angrily and unreasonably at police and medical professionals, always promising no more lies and then immediately telling more lies [especially to children], and always always always saying to doctors, 'But he'll be alright won't he?'

JaneJeffer · 14/09/2021 22:19

I think they need to get rid of the social distancing now. Get back to having a crowd in the Woolie and a bit of banter. The cast are all out socialising together anyway so what's the difference?

TellingBone · 15/09/2021 21:02

The lack of comments so far on tonight's episode speaks volumes.

Valiant effort by the two young girls but really they're not strong enough to carry a scene like that. And the dialogue they're given doesn't help.

Marlon's heading for a crisis; we get it. It was just too obvious that his plans would go wrong. Perhaps he'll head off to Scotland or Spain for a bit.

RaraRachael · 15/09/2021 21:23

The scene in the graveyard was excruciating. Cathy's dialogue just didn't seem to make sense and went on for ever.

So fed up with Marlon's troubles. I have no sympathy for anyone at the moment as there's just so much misery, negativity and misunderstandings I can put up with.

JaneJeffer · 15/09/2021 21:27

I would actually love Bernice and Al to buy the pub. Marlon can go back to cooking. He's not management material.

Diane was funny.

lovelychops · 15/09/2021 22:23

Argh Marlon. So bad. I don't like him when he's being 'wacky' and I can't stand him when he's all gurning and woe is me. We don't need a depressing storyline about money troubles.
Is Rhona still a vet ? She can't be short of a bob or two. Why can't they communicate?
I'd honestly forgot about Al. Why is he back ??? Is Priya with Ellis ?
Sorry for all these questions, I put it on then wander off as it's got so boring 😴

RaraRachael · 16/09/2021 13:44

Why is Al back - yes indeed Hmm. Yet another pointless character. I think Bernice buying back the pub would be a good idea but not with Al. Agree that Marlon is not management material. It's so irritating at the moment with more silly storylines that you can see coming a mile off.

MrsRobbieHart · 16/09/2021 19:28

Why am I watching this tripe?

MrsRobbieHart · 16/09/2021 19:36

Matty looks like a fucking idiot with his little puppet hands 😂😂😂

JaneJeffer · 16/09/2021 19:42

Cathy is April's aunt not her cousin.

PrincessScarlett · 16/09/2021 19:45

Sorry but Matty squirting that much excellerant on a BBQ is his own bloody fault not Marlon's. Who would do that except a bloody idiot. Obviously all part of the plan to a new pub owner but just ridiculous 🙄

JaneJeffer · 16/09/2021 19:46

I can't concentrate after being traumatised by a Christmas ad during the break.

JaneJeffer · 16/09/2021 19:51

Chas I think Aaron has some money stashed away from when he robbed that warehouse with Ross and it was never mentioned again.

excelledyourself · 16/09/2021 19:56

How did Wendy (and Liam) get round the fact she's not legally registered to practice?

PrincessScarlett · 16/09/2021 20:06

Why are Marlon and April giving Rhona such a hard time? It was hardly a deliberate assault and it's about time Cathy faced up to what she's done.

Ellenanora7 · 16/09/2021 22:07

So it's all Rhona's fault now, way to go Marlon, you told April she could always talk to you but anytime she tried you were too busy.

Brenda sticking up for Cathy was unbelievable, she's a little cow and deserves to be punished for it, the assault was an accident Brenda you dope, Rhona didn't do it on purpose.

Why is Brenda allowed to defend Cathy but Rhona can't stick up for April.

Al will be running the pub before we know it.

I can't begin to even care about Wendy.

@excelledyourself

Something like she was too valuable to let go and he couldn't talk to anyone else and mumble mumble not going to say anything to the authorities yet mumble.

Which would be a massive no-no if I've understood it correctly.

What I'm not getting is quite why Wendy is still beholden to Russ now that she's owned up to Liam. She's covered herself by doing that.
