Al is bound to end up running the pub with Chas and then we'll have the will they won't they have an affair and Paddy will constantly think they are having an affair.

Brenda seems to have become a schizophrenic character. One minute she's lovely with Eric and Faith and the next she's reverted back to a fish wife shouting in the street and having an out of the blue feud with Rhona who she's never had any bad blood with 🤷🏻‍♀️

What was the point in bringing Debbie back to do that stupid story with Al totally ruining his character development and then she just left again?

I think Al's character was already ruined when he ended Marlon and Jessie's marriage. There has really been no point to him ever since then.

I thought Al had no money. Didn't he steal money possibly from Graham around the time of his death or Kim set something up to catch him?
Sorry if this is nonsense but it's been such a mish mash of shite over the last few years it's hard to keep track of the instantly forgettable storylines. Whereas I can remember the storylines from Classic as if they were yesterday.

Priya and Debbie set Al up so it looked like he had cleared out The Hop account but I think they reluctantly had to give the money back as Kim was on to them. However, he's had money troubles since he arrived so not sure how he's got the money to buy the pub. Where does he even live?

I didn't mind Al causing Jessie to leave because she was a paaaain. He was definitely broke not long ago but I can't remember the in and outs. I don't want Chas in the pub with him because I just can't stand her and then Paddy will be flapping around and ugh. Just ugh to everything!

Did you see on the news today Diane has announced her retirement from Emmerdale after 22 years. Can't believe it made the national news although I will miss Diane. Just hope her exit isn't death by Meena.

I saw that but I didn't know if that's considered a spoiler or not. Hope she gets a happy exit. I'll miss her. She's been the only bright spot in recent episodes.

Seeing as Victoria set up an online dating profile for Diane, I think she's going to be whisked off by a new man. If says she's filmed her last scenes so that doesn't give much time to develop a storyline. Mind you when did ever stop them before.
