Oooh didnt know this thread existed. I have watched eastenders from when I was born but it really is boring right now. I think I watch out of boredom. Why do they kill all relationships with cheating? The keegan, dotty and tiff storyline is terrible - not plausible imo. Gray should have been found out long ago and the billy storyline is just repeating old hash.why eastenders brought back sonia and kathy,I do not know. How is ian disappearing never mentioned? Surelt his mother and children would be a BIT concerned? The episodes are so short which I dont understand as othera have managed to continue with reasonable timed episodes. I really do hope this isnt the beginning of the end but they really do need new stories and new characters for even long timers like me to switch on. Sonia, kathy, sharon, Peter, Honey need to go. Give the Panesars decent stories, Iqra also maybe bring her family in, bring maybe Jay's family or some sort of love interest, bring in at least two new families,let mick and linda remain as background characters (why they are always in the limelight I do not know). Am loving Jean, Rainie and Stuart, Ballum and the Taylors and STOP WITH EVERYONE CHEATING!!

Boring characters get main stories and Jay and honey get one every ten years. Then go back to odd phrases. Jay is good character is relationship with Ben yet hardly know anything about him or see him at work. Car lot or undertakers we have no idea of his personality.

I think Jean has let Ruby off lightly tbh. If I had been in her shoes, I would have said you need to tell the police or I will rather than tell Martin. Ditto Lola can’t visit Jacob to drop off a burger everyday because it’s taken to much of her time and impact on her life and has to “put her child first”.

Meanwhile.. having 3 small children is never a burden like a sick relative and Lola Kim and Dee can have endless child free drinks and meals!
