So Jack (who attended the attempted burglary along with the rest of the met police ) overheard the '36 weeks' comment from Linda and because he's such an astute detective instantly put 2+2 together and knew that the baby is Max's and tadaaa - Linda will disappear by Friday I'm guessing!

Well, he is a Super Detective!

Jack is related to Super Sonia so of course he works things out very quickly !! It's in the blood

Jack will also be related to Junior Carter too, I sometimes forget the dynamics of the Branning crew.

Yeah it was so clunky. Jack wouldn’t have even given that a second thought let alone done the sums that quickly in his head.

I'm not sure he'd need to be astute as it differs to what Linda and Mick have been telling people. Super Sleuth will have picked up on that aspect and then worked it out (complete with Sherlock on screen graphics)

I did see Bert and Ernie briefly a couple of weeks ago when they needed to show "hyperactive family life" for Phil before he ran off to "help Lisa".

I know this will be a controversial view, but I have a sneaking sympathy for Dotty. She's being used by a lot of different people who don't really care about her at all and she doesn't have any proper parent figure who looks out for her. I think she is actually very vulnerable.

She is also using people though.

She has no idea how to form a proper relationship (purely friendly or otherwise!)

Dotty is another mess, had give up Uni for drug selling now works in bar. Neve goi g afford own place unless Grandma Dot leaves her loads of dosh. She’s never had BF has she ?

I agree she's a mess, made a lot of mistakes, uses people, etc. She is just trying to survive somehow and can't do it because she has no support. I suppose I'm so old I feel she is just a young girl who needs some help...

Baby Abby will always be known as Baby Abby in my mind to differentiate from her mum. A bit like Baby David in the Royle Family and Neil the Baby in Gavin & Stacey. Even when shes 40.
