Oh no. Just read the Metro link and my expectations are low. I expect it will be a poor imitation of MAFS OZ.

On another note, Amy’s dress is super-unflattering

Apparently the U.K. version is changing its format. They are moving away from normal people and instead casting Love Island-style wannabe Z-listers / ‘influencers’. If so, I won’t be watching.

Next thing Love in the Countryside will have them dressing up as milkmaids of yore.

I would imagine that some have been rejected from the latest round of reality shows.

If they start chopsing on about ‘snacks’ and ‘bits of me* and ‘journeys’ I will be forced to go glug.

I will put money on the fact that someone is going to end up wrapped round someone they shouldn’t be.

And the obligatory interview of their luuuuurve in a glossy mag or tabloid.

I've literally just seen a trailer for this, except I missed the start of it and genuinely thought it was something to do with Love Island! Oh well, I was completely addicted to MAFS Australia so I guess this will be the same!

I'm glad the format has changed, loads more potential for drama. From the look of the contestants it's definitely not a love island/influencer crowd

I'm really looking forward to it. Am I the only one who doesn't really enjoy the Aus version? It's so fakey and far, far too dragged out. I've only watched 1 season and disliked it so didn't tune in again. I'm praying the UK one isn't going that far.
