New thread for us to discuss all things Holby.

It feels a bit like the script writers have totally given up now and are just throwing every crazy story line they can think of into the mix. There'll be zombies next week, you mark my words.

burblish · 24/08/2021 23:55

Was today’s script written by someone on work experience?! It’s just getting worse and worse, isn’t it. Cameron “subtly” quoting Houdini was a particular low point; I could almost see the writers high-fiving themselves.

Fluffmonkey82 · 25/08/2021 00:16

And leaving the evidence conveniently behind as you do...and who was the random nurse killing him and bringing him back to life?! Utter bonkers

Backofbeyond50 · 25/08/2021 01:13

Gutted it is ending. Missed last two weeks so not read thread. Will catch up.

cittigirl · 25/08/2021 06:28

It's so far fetched, I wonder if it will be a nightmare sequence like Dallas. I know it probably sounds ridiculous but I feel sorry for the actors. I wonder if any are feeling like they didnt sign up to act in a farce! Still watching to the very end...I think some of the actors will switch over to casualty...that would be quite good.

MyOtherProfile · 25/08/2021 06:44

Wouldn't be surprised. But I don't think anyone is waking up until we have had zombies Grin

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 25/08/2021 08:25

I was just sat mind wandering as you do Grin

At first I briefly thought the dodgy nurse was Kylie (now that would have been a plot twist!) because of her hair and I wondered if they were going to review CCTV and think it was her. She seemed very keen to volunteer to be in the room with him!

BackInBlackAgain · 25/08/2021 09:24

When Mia started to tell Donna everything i was thinking "shut the door, shut the door or someone will come in at the crucial moment" and lo and behold they did. Can no one have a private conversation in that place?

SoupDragon · 25/08/2021 09:48

The Mia story is really horrible.

Evie was nasty too! She's turned into a mini Jenny, saying exactly the same things and turning the blame elsewhere. Luckily Lucky is on to it now. 🤞🏻

spongedog · 25/08/2021 22:11

Yes but sadly Lucky isnt the most competent or respected.

SoupDragon · 25/08/2021 23:40

Don't spoil my hopes! This is her chance to shine!

spongedog · 25/08/2021 23:49

@SoupDragon

Don't spoil my hopes! This is her chance to shine!
Why? Such a dull character.
SoupDragon · 26/08/2021 08:29

Just to end the foul child sex abuse/grooming storyline.

SoupDragon · 26/08/2021 08:29

No one else has noticed anything suspicious.

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 26/08/2021 08:58

I am back again over invested

Also why the hell where they just stood listening to Chloe explain what he'd done instead of CALLING SECURITY

HalleLouja · 26/08/2021 19:35

I did like Max and Sasha being friends. Although I felt like he was cheating on Jac. Bleugh to most of the rest of the episode, especially Mia and the Fletchling aka Evie.

Hopefully they go full on horror with Cameron escaping and its a bit like a Hitchcock movie.

ChoccyJules · 27/08/2021 16:24

Maybe Cam will do them all in, complete bloodbath, it will go out accidentally before the watershed in the next couple of weeks and the BBC will have their noses rubbed in it for cancelling the show, with nothing left to air between now and March.

This would be the only ending that makes sense.
Mum21031608 · 28/08/2021 09:42

In the same style of when HH’s son went on a killing spree. I loved those episodes.

I could see Cam haunting the corridors with a gun and shooting down anyone in his path.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 28/08/2021 09:48

Chloe definitely won't be long for this world if Cam goes on a rampage.

Who asked Lucky to keep an eye on Jenni? Was it Madge or HH?

So do we still think there's a romance looming between Dom and Jeong?

Assuming the 'evil' nurse colluding with Cameron was Kylie's nemesis who turned up a week or so ago?

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 28/08/2021 10:20

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 no it wasn't her. They didn't look similar at all!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 28/08/2021 10:28

Thanks for disproving that theory @NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella.

NowWeAreSuckingDieselFella · 28/08/2021 10:29

Haha when I first saw her with her high ponytail I actually thought it was Kylie. That would have been a good twist rather than some random person we've never seen before!

Optimist1 · 28/08/2021 11:17

Of course if they don't catch Cam, the remaining months of Holby will see the entire staff individually needing to visit the Basement of Doom on a regular basis and hearing/seeing stuff that makes them think he's hiding down there. One by one, they'll a) need to take extended leave due to stress or b) be slaughtered.

OP posts:
EBearhug · 28/08/2021 12:58

I don't think Cam will go on a rampage - he wants people to acknowledge his superior brain. He'll be all gaslighty mind games, so he can watch people getting frightened and see them suffer.
