New thread for us to discuss all things Holby.

Billie is very precocious (and not very realistic). Plus the actress’ habit of declaiming her lines doesn’t exactly help with the whole “willing suspension of disbelief”

WhatICallMyUsername · 28/02/2022 22:28

Did anyone else watch tonight? Don't want to give away any spoilers haha

spiderlight · 28/02/2022 22:44

I did. Does anyone else get the feeling that that might be the vlast we see of Sacha, Dom and Jeong? It just seemed to be their little happy ending 😭

PaddlingLikeADuck · 28/02/2022 22:48

Tonight?? Why was it on tonight??

WhatICallMyUsername · 28/02/2022 22:51

@PaddlingLikeADuck football tomorrow Hmm

WhatICallMyUsername · 28/02/2022 22:52

Yes @spiderlight it did feel like all their loose ends were tied up especially at the end when they were all talking to patients

TrashyPanda · 28/02/2022 23:03

Yes, it did seem to wrap things up.

But seeing the incredibly gorgeous Michael once again… my, he has aged beautifully.

unvillage · 01/03/2022 01:25

As soon as we met Terry I thought it wasn't going to be him abusing Madge, I actually immediately thought an autistic or otherwise developmentally disabled adult child they were both keeping quiet about. Kylie clearly knows the whole family including Lizzie, not sure if I missed her being in it before?

WhatICallMyUsername · 01/03/2022 06:31

I immediately thought drugs related and that's why she needed extra money to pay off her dealers! And they've made her go cold turkey which is why she's violent to Madge

MyOtherProfile · 01/03/2022 06:31

Yes I think we will probably just see Sacha, Dom and Jeong as background characters now. Can't help feeling Jeong never really got a decent storyline and was a bit wasted.

SleepingStandingUp · 01/03/2022 11:41

No, I'm shipping Doeng still.

Glad we got Donna closure. Sacha is done now, that's fine. As is Nikki. Amelia and Hubby accepting life and her not stealing a baby. Josh and Ange the other day when his mate died.

Madge will be sorted out next week.

That better not be the end of Faber.

Jac needs sorting. And Fletch. And Henrik.

Max is always fine and Louis is where??

Sacha can come back if he'd getting it on with Max.

PaddlingLikeADuck · 01/03/2022 14:15

But seeing the incredibly gorgeous Michael once again… my, he has aged beautifully.

I thought he looked awful. Surely he’s had plastic surgery??

SoupDragon · 01/03/2022 14:21

Thank goodness someone else said that! I didn't think he looked good either.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 01/03/2022 14:40

I was shocked at how much he seems to have aged! How many years is it since he was last in Holby City? Five or more? Pretty sure he's made a few one-off appearances since he stopped being in it regularly?

Partyatnumber10 · 01/03/2022 21:38

Just watched the latest episode and I'm confused. What's happened to Kylie?
A couple of weeks ago she was bleeding in the hospital car park with a broken leg. This week, work as normal, no sign of injury and nobody even asked if she was feeling better.
Have I got two different characters muddled up? Confused

spiderlight · 01/03/2022 21:47

No, it was Kylie in the car park, but I think it was just a really nasty deep cut rather than a broken leg.

ChoccyJules · 01/03/2022 22:31

I also didn’t think Mr Spence had aged well.

Who else will wander in before the end I wonder? Am still hoping for Anton Meyer, the only one who could make Henrik’s Prince of Darkness look like Snow White.

I am a bit annoyed that official BBC Twitter has ruined a couple of surprises already, wish they would stop it!

I have watched since the Very Start and I know it’s been up and down but I will miss it.

SoupDragon · 01/03/2022 22:38

In the spirit of honesty, I suspect he's aged better than I have 😂

TrashyPanda · 02/03/2022 09:20

Oh good, that means I have Michael all to myself!

SleepingStandingUp · 02/03/2022 09:39

Gladly.

Ilovefluffysheep · 02/03/2022 11:36

Another who doesn't think he's aged well.

Ilovefluffysheep · 02/03/2022 16:08

Just seen that the last episode is going to be on 29th March. Sad times.

Even though Holby isn't as good as it used to be, I've watched it from the very beginning, and it's actually the only show I watch weekly on regular tv.

Optimist1 · 02/03/2022 17:25

Like you, @Ilovefluffysheep, I've watched it since the beginning, and will miss it dreadfully. Even though we find plenty to moan about - weak plotlines, out of character behaviour and ludicrously short notice periods - it's been a midweek pleasure. Sad

Classic Holby is on everyday, if you need a fix.

spiderlight · 03/03/2022 09:42

I might have to start recording the classic episodes so I can go back in time a few years.
