I think Hugo genuinely likes Chloe. If he was playing a game he would steer clear as she was clearly unpopular with the public unlike himself. A smart game player would have faked it with Georgia. I also disagree that newbies should automatically stay. Who is she going to go for now? No one is available and she doesn't seem like an stealer like abi? Especially as I think casa amor is probably next rather than new boys in the main villa.

I agree with this too. His knows Chloe is the least favourite in there and yet went for it. If he was thinking ahead he would fake it with Georgia.

I also agree no point of the newbies picking first in this recoupling as Georgia would have no choice but to go for Hugo who made his feelings very clear.

As for PPs saying Jake is jumping ship I think he is smarter than that. He knows he is doing well with Liberty and has a good chance of making it to the final and even winning it. He is gonna stick with her till the end.

As for all the blondes that have come in the villa I believe they have been a desperate producer attempt to get him to stray and cause drama. (Especially the arrival of Millie and Lucinda). I think the producers have given up on that now.

Agree with this, he will have watched previous series just like the rest of us and the whole ‘couple from the start’ thing has been, quite often, really successful. Plus dumping for a girl in casa amor rarely works out such that the dumper looks good and the dumpee doesn’t get loads of sympathy/public support.

The new lady wasn't given a chance at all. She was educated, sensible and attractive and no fake bits anywhere! A better message to girls that watch with low self esteem so they don't copy the big fish lips and stick on lumps that pass as boobs. Yuck.

Abigail needed to target Hugo or break up a couple to stay in. Did that cross Toby's mind at the time of Hugo's choice too?

I think Hugo might have fancied Chloe for a while - Georgia certainly seems to have said so in a post-exit interview (and she's have an obvious interest in observing him closely). Chloe wasn't particularly nice to him when coupled up before though, was she?

The thing is it is so so much more dramatic with Chloe staying in now, than it is worth Georgia, sad for Georgia, no matter how nice or natural she is, Chloe staying in when Abigail and Toby are cracking on is better tv.

I don’t get the outrage. There was none when other couples chose out of friendship. Chloe previously saved Hugo. Now he has saved Chloe. If he added in - she’s like my little sister, it could have been Kaz and Aaron for the last few recouplings!
Kaz showed her mean streak last night. She was never ‘with’ Toby, they barely kissed.
Chloe is the star of LI this year. Without her, there would be nothing to watch every evening. The others are incredibly dull.
Hugo was great last night. He stood up and did what he believed. The more mature guys in the villa - Teddy, Aaron, Liam all obviously agreed with him.

I really don't understand the animosity against Hugo. He's annoying the way he keeps rejecting girls without giving them a chance but otherwise what's the problem? He's quite funny sometimes and how could anyone disagree with what he said last night, even if it was karma for Chloe?

I think soon after the 1st vote (the couple compatibility one) and definitely after the 2nd vote he probably realised if he had stuck with Kaz and made some effort he would be one of the favourites. Seeing Kaz doing so well is definitely grating on him.

No I think chloe was right to end it with Toby so I disagree with pp, I wouldn’t sit there whilst he “got to know” someone else either, good on her for not putting up with it!

I agree. But I also think that you generally know if you’re not attracted to someone, so can’t blame HUgo for dismissing people. It seemed a very contrived match with Georgia - she was everything physically that he appeared to have asked for, but it doesn’t mean that he had to fancy her. It must feel a bit stalkerish when they come in admitting that they’re targeting a certain person, especially if it’s not reciprocated.

To be fair Chloe is pretty much what Hugo described he liked too, the leggy blonde. I don’t like her but she’s out of his league.

I love Lucinda and Aaron’s laughing cringing reaction to the speech.

Think there is some proper drama to be shown tonight hence why they showed who was picked last night. It must kick off.

If Chloe had been sent home it would be sweet for Toby he could crack on with Abigail, now Chloe is in there and Hugo has escalated the whole thing, which Toby will hate.

I really hope abi bins him for someone else in casa amor, but she probably knows newbies aren’t as popular as original Members.

someone posted earlier a link to an article about Hugo and the girl he split with just before LI. she was like a little lucinda, petite and pretty. I know most people don't have a type (thinking about my sting of exes they are all v different!) but I just don't see him with Chloe.
