I'm actually warming to Toby. He genuinely is just a clueless guy lacking relationship experience and trying his best. He lacks the communication skills to be able to make this clear to people though.

I can't stand Hugo; he really is giving me incel vibes! It'll take Chloe two minutes to move on to someone else now and he'll look the fool.

Chloe; I'm not going to lie I can't find myself to have any sympathy for the kind of girl who actively engages in affairs with married men, knowing they're married and the fact she's reacted this strongly to Abi after what she did with Kaz ... deflecting much? She's just upset her ego has been dented and she isn't the one calling the shots. I can see her immediately trying to graft on with someone else now....maybe Tyler or Aaron and seeing nothing wrong with her actions.

Shame for Georgia being thrown off so quickly; she didn't get chance to really show any of herself. I'd much rather she get some time than Lucinda.

Hugo would have been told to pick Chloe and make that little speech to create some drama by the producers when it became obvious to them (after about 60 seconds) that he wasn't interested in Georgia.

I think Hugo, Toby and Jake are pulling a long game, hoping to stay until Casa Amour where they will get a second chance. Could also be the same for Tyler, I don't think he's interested in Kaz at all (tbh that constant screeching from her would put me off)

I think Chloe is sounding weird as they've possibly put her on anti anxiety meds...something like propranolol maybe.

Georgia has just commented in the Sun after leaving that Hugo holds a candle for Lucinda and Chloe, and that unless he's honest with himself and goes for them, he won't be entertaining any other options. She also said she doesn't think he really knows what he wants.

It's why that speech of his was ridiculous - he's as confused and swayed by lust/looks as Toby was - difference is Toby does give the girls a decent effort before pie-ing them. Hugo writes them off before they've even had a conversation!! This isn't Lust Island.

Toby is awful. I don't think most people in his position would have chosen Abi tbh. He's coming across as completely lacking in empathy and wanting to be in a couple that gets him more votes.

Completely agree. Hugo has gone way up in my estimation. Toby thinks he’s unpopular because of Chloe. He’s a complete idiot.

They do talk to each other AND Chloe saved Hugo in a previous recoupling. He doesn't have to fancy her to save her. He is repaying her for having his back a few weeks ago.

Faye does not need to get involved. I feel sorry for Teddy trying to put up with her tbh. He seems such a nice guy and she is rough.

To pp saying that Hugo's speech sounded contrived or rehearsed - all of the speeches sound that way don't they? They all sound wooden and like they were written by an angsty sixth former.

Hugo's speech will have been rehearsed in that what he was going to say will have been discussed previously with a member of the production team. That's how the show works. It's all manipulated. That saying I enjoyed last night but wish Chloe had gone.

I think Hugo genuinely likes Chloe. If he was playing a game he would steer clear as she was clearly unpopular with the public unlike himself. A smart game player would have faked it with Georgia.
I also disagree that newbies should automatically stay. Who is she going to go for now? No one is available and she doesn't seem like an stealer like abi? Especially as I think casa amor is probably next rather than new boys in the main villa.

Oh my goodness, this ! Trying to act like the hero 🤮 On the plus side, they may be booted out now given very few people like either of them. She’s going to ditch him so fucking fast if she can.

I don't think he's creepy, think he felt he was doing the right thing by choosing Chloe over Georgia. Whether he fancies her or not had no bearing on it.

I agree with whoever said Toby and Chloe are more established than kaz and Toby. Kaz and Toby barely kissed and he was obviously not interested whereas Chloe and Toby have been much more like a couple also I defo think something happened in the hideaway with them

Exactly. I think Chloe feels humiliated as well because they had shared more than just a kiss and here he is treating her like a fling.

Kaz and Toby by their own admission were taking things really slow and you could see from a mile that Toby just wasn't feeling it.

I think Toby's issue is that he is pissed off he has being at the bottom twice and blames Chloe for it without realising that he is unlikeable himself. He has been playing the game properly afterall doing all the sweet couply things for the public to go 'awww, so cute together'. If Chloe hadn't been at the bottom again there is a good chance he would still be holding on to her.

As for Kaz's look during the recoupling, I have seen twitter saying it's because she feels betrayed because Hugo never defended her like that. I personally think she is also pissed off Chloe is still in there and she was hoping for the ultimate revenge of Chloe getting kicked out.

My recording ended just at the point when there were only 3 girls left too. Infuriating!

Why are we all watching this shite? The show is a fucking joke! How dare they throw Georgia to the wolves like that and then when the very very WEIRDLY protected Hugo wheels out his "I just want to be honest" speech for the 3rd or 4th time chuck her out without giving her even another DAY to get to know everyone.

You can't blame Abi for going so aggressively after Toby if that's what newbies have to do to be in with a chance.

Toby isn't the brightest and he thinks that being tested is a thing because it's a buzzword on Love Island. Also, I think he actually wanted to stay with Chloe but she totally went off on one because a new girl was flirting with him and she actually ended it. She already had her Hugo back-up plan in her mind and who was she lying on a bed next to within a minute??

Hugo had his chance with Chloe already. She doesn't fancy him and he's deluding himself if he thinks anything is going to happen.

Why are all the boring established couples given the power to just basically kick the newbies out? A lot more of it should be down to the public vote.

Above all I cannot believe that Hugo is still bloody in there!! The disregard for the new islanders and the audience of this show from the programme makers absolutely stinks.
