Just watching on catch up. Bit of a porky from Liam there!! Agreed that AJ's age/ maturity is working against her. Imagine her and Toby together! Kaz is not feeling Danny. Hugo would prefer to play jumpers for goalposts than speak to AJ. Maybe AJ and Danny??

Teddy redeemed himself a bit although I'm not sure he meant it or just wasn't interested in AJ?

Yeah I just don't think teddy is interested in AJ either.. I'm still a bit unsure about him and Faye I don't see much chemistry there and they never appear together but I guess we only see an hour of the day

I agree AJ is too old for the boys! Isn't Liam 21?!

If they want to send someone in for Hugo, he’s literally given them a brief, we all know it by now: leggy blonde, not fake.

I hope AJ doesn't pick Liam, Millie's lovely and I don't want her to go. But I think she might, she's not picking up on that he's not interested. Although none of them are. I think she might pick Hugo as a safe bet. I hope Danny picks Kaz, she's such a love. Sharon on the other hand, I don't know who would suit her, she seems so snippy.

Just caught up. Kaz looks stunning tonight. AJ’a body is amazing but her face is just so frozen and she’s coming on way too strong.

I reckon if she picks Liam he might go home with Millie - though how awkward would that be for AJ?!

Hugo is acting a bit weird now. He doesn’t seem to vibe with anyone. When AJ came in he was banging on about how excited he was to get to know her and that she was hot and now he couldn’t be less interested

Holy crapsticks! I go out for the night and the posts are rolling in but how have you all managed to write so much when so little has happened!!

Not a fan of Danny looks wise, I'd rate him below all the other lads, he puts me in mind of action man with a very strong brow. Can't tell who he is going to pick but both he and AJ have been sent in as disruptors so I can't see anyone picking singles/availables if you know what I mean.

I feel sorry for AJ (even if she does have the same excrutiating vocal mannerisms as Chloe and Lucinda). She's been there, what? 2 days? No one has been particularly friendly to her and Hugo was downright rude when he got up to play football. I've gone off him gradually from the start and would like to see him gone from the villa as I don't feel he adds anything and he was a fool to pick Sharon as a mate after she was such a cow to him - but yet again all the boys are safe.

Whoever AJ picks she will be hated by the girls.

God knows who Danny will pick. Probably Lucinda. I'm worried for Kaz.

Although if Lucinda is with Danny then I guess Aaron would choose Kaz again. In which case I'm worried for Sharon.

Has anyone ever heard a contestant saying 'I like Beryl/ Keith but I think they're too young/ old for me'?

This is my third series now and I don't think I've ever heard that mentioned as a factor whereas in real life, it would be quite unusual (no judgement where it does work out) for a 28 or 29 year old woman to be interested in a man in his very early 20s, and in a lot of cases vice versa.

It doesn't seem to have bothered AJ with Liam, Maura with Tommy or Anna with Jordan.

I can only think of Chris being very courteous to but clearly not really interested in Harley in 2019 at a late stage in the series and would guess that her age or maturity may have been a factor.

I think if AJ picks Liam, Hugo or Aaron may potentially pick Millie to keep her in for Liam. Danny is almost certainly going to choose Lucinda.

I do wonder if the producers told Aj to make it look like she’s interested in Liam to spice it up. She clearly can see he is totally into Millie.

I don’t know if something happened off camera, but one min the boys were all saying how hot Aj was, next Hugo is running away, teddy is saying no chance and all the boys are acting like she’s some form of pariah..

I work with someone whose son is meant to be going in in the next week or so. Very bonny lad I believe.

Anyone else just craving a bit more authenticity? I know it's always a bit set up but I'd really like to see a bit more of the 'real' side of everyone. This has been the most boring year I've watched!

I don't think AJ will pick Liam or anyone who is clearly coupled up, I would hope she's too experienced/mature for that and would know it would make her unpopular with everyone else and the viewers.

When you compare the earlier series' to this one, it seems so contrived and everyone is aware of popular the show now is and they are only in LI for the exposure. I feel like its had its day now, every series just seems to lose its appeal as it goes on.

However, I will still watch it out of habit & I'm interested to see how the person I knows son goes in.

For me the golden age of love island was season 2 and 3. Those were the memorable contestants for me and the show was much better edited. If you ask me who won in the later series or ask me to name a favourite couple I have no idea. I just about remember some of them from season 5 and that's because people keep banging on about them on twitter and how they miss them.

Series 2 and 3 were also my favs, I started watching it at series 3 and then I watched series 2 on catch up and it was so good. Much more drinking, sex, smoking it made all the drama much better and the people were real, although obv v attractive but not lip fillered and botox’d to buggery.

Remember Nathan from series 2, him and Cara they were together from day 1 and married now with kids. They were fab, ordinary people with normal bodies and they were so much fun.
