A certain type of male enjoys a pretty girl looking amazed at what he says - a wide-eyed "Oh reeeeaaally?" goes down well. I get the impression that it's a strategy that has always worked well for her and it's her automatic response.

Mind you, I cling to the illusion that my romantic unpopularity is down to my searing intelligence scaring off men, so I have my own biases.

That was about Lucinda, obviously.

I feel uncomfortable watching both Danny and Aaron with Lucinda.
Danny comes across a little threatening in response to her childish games.
Aaron comes across as a little sleazy when he is stroking her and going in for an early kiss.
I think Brad seemed a better match.

I watched with my nineteen year old daughter and she said that she felt uncomfortable with his behaviour.
If Danny can’t cope with being ‘mugged off’ then he shouldn’t have come into the villa
where the likelihood of being ‘mugged off ‘ is extremely high
Danny’s behaviour was unacceptable and should not be condoned.
I think that he should be removed from the villa for his own sake.

I think you’re all crediting her with too much intelligence and cunning

I also think Lucinda is being given a bit more credit on here than she deserves, people are making her out to be some form of mastermind creating an illusion to capture men. I think she’s just a young woman with a certain way of speaking that betrays her intelligence but she is who she is. She’s no relationship mastermind on the sly 😂.
