New thread for inevitable disappointment when they leave the recoupling for Sunday.

Also Hugo was very rude to AJ, saying sorry for his body language but he was essentially disappointed about being picked as it would mean his mate had to leave. I know he hasn't had much time since the recoupling but his reaction was so clear that he needs to tell her he isn't interested rather than keep spooning in bed and let her make a fool of herself talking about a future. I'm not sure who else she would have a chance with though, they're all just too young.

What about Danny telling Lucinda he'd crack on if she wasn't interested? I mean, fair play if she's not but it felt pretty manipulative. He's only been in there a few hours!

CrackOnOrGoHome I agree the crack on comment from Danny was OTT. He put a nail in his own coffin with that comment.
I keep asking myself if Danny had a different accent and wasn't covered in tattoos, and had the same 'words' with Aaron about 'respecting' him, would I think he was right to have done so. Did I find him a bit 'gang member' like because of his accent and how he looks? I don't know the honest answer.

Another thing I'm confused by - if they all have their clothes supplied by the same shop - why does Millie consistently dress completely differently ie better than the rest of them? No half shoulders/cut outs for her. She always dresses really really well.

Aaron didn't give a shit when he wanted to stir shit up and kiss Lucinda. Danny didn't give a shit when he pulled Aaron and clearly wanted to show that he takes no shit. Lucinda is playing them off and playing games and she pretty much caused that argument too and enjoyed it.

I agree with a pp, those 2 lads will probably really get on now and hopefully see her for the child she is over the next few days

I say pale blue as some of us Celtic Scots can be quite pale blue. I was once called a sweaty sock by a Cockney and asked how come I wasn't pale blue like the Scots he knew! He was a fucking charmer. Don't think he realised you can be mixed race/ heritage and be Scottish. T'was 20 years ago, but still.

They are also allowed to bring their own clothes and there’s no obligation for them to wear the supplied clothes - they just can if they want. I guess most of them do though because they want the brands to see their willing to promote them / how they look int the clothes.

It’s a bit bonkers to say Danny looks like the type to get violent/pull a knife on someone etc. I mean for fuck’s sake… just cos he’s got a shaved head and tattoos doesn’t mean he’s a thug.

Partly because he has used racist language in the past and partly because his behaviour was so OTT aggressive.

My thoughts on Danny are nothing to do with how he looks but his behaviour. If Aaron hadn't diffused the argument, it would have all kicked off.

There’s definitely something off about Danny. He comes across as the type to pull a knife out in a fight after a few drinks. Way too intense / possessive of someone he barely knows, simmering anger, spoiling for a fight…so many red flags. But Lucinda is definitely encouraging it. When they were on the beanbags she was hamming it up saying how angry Danny looked and completely cutting off what Aaron way trying to say. I agree with PP I don’t think she fancies Aaron sadly. But surely she can do better than Danny?

The jake and kaz snog was weird … obviously he’s an arse for snogging her but if kaz and Liberty are best mates I’m surprised kaz didn’t pull away.

I like Kaz, but she definitely should have pulled away. In fact, she appeared to pull his head towards her.

Despite the negative press attention about Danny, I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. I agree that the racist term used could be used as a term of greeting (even though I think it is inappropriate) However, I am no shrinking violet, but I was very uncomfortable with the way Danny behaved towards Aaron. It was not as though he had been in the house for a few weeks and had formed an attachment to Lucinda, she had just met him. Yet there he was doing the big man and confronting Aaron. Lucinda looked slightly uncomfortable too and people on social media have also said that they were concerned about Danny’s behaviour The allegations of Danny being a racist thug became more credible imo and it’s obvious that the producers did not do their due diligence I actually don’t like Aaron but I do agree that things would have got out of hand if he hadn’t diffused the situation

There is something a bit uncomfortable about Danny. He gives me negative vibes. His emotional blackmail to Lucinda was verging on threatening.

Hugo is a fish out of water. He reminds me of almost every boy I was at university with. He doesn't find girls who have 'work' done attractive so that rules out most of the contestants. The only girl who is even vaguely his type would be Millie. Not sure why he is there. Chuggs would have been the same.

Faye reminds me of Shaughna in that she's a bit abrasive and loud but is covering up her insecurities by doing so. She seems to have a good heart and is a loyal friend. I suspect Casa Amor will not end well for her.

I really need to stop overthinking this and get a life

Danny saying he wants a top tier girlfriend suggests that it's all about status in the eyes of other men, not the connection with the woman. It's why he reacted so strongly to the thing with Aaron - the possible loss of face. It's dangerous stuff. And Lucinda isn't bright (or perhaps experienced is fairer) enough to see it. Not nice to watch. I think she loved saying "Which boyfriend should I choose?" to the other girls, to rub in that most of them didn't have multiple options.

Aaron was stirring, but he was impressive at de-escalating the conflict.

I think the main issue with AJ will be her age.

A 4/5 year age gap in your 20's can be a world apart in terms of goals and expectations.

I think there is a racist undercurrent.

I too was prepared to give Danny the benefit of the doubt with the N-word stuff - not ideal but could just be a daft wee laddie not appreciating the inappropriateness of what he said. But after what, less than a day in the villa he’s having a go at a black man about “disrespecting” him? Nah.

I find Danny very unattractive, just not my type with the action man hair and threaded brows. I’m sure he would be devastated to hear this as a chubby middle aged mum He seemed to be playing a role of wannabe alpha, very pumped up on testosterone. He does seem quite hostile and lacking finesse. I hope he doesn’t get completely slaughtered by doing Love Island. Lucindaaaaaaaaa doesn’t remotely fancy either of them. I think she did quite fancy Brad as he was a traditionally good looking man, as is Aaron. She is very beautiful but reminds me of a doll or one of those pageant toddlers. Totally lacking in sex appeal but very, very pretty. The voice though is aggravating, she shows no basic skills in conversation, maybe the editing or because she is young. I hate the trials/games, always whizz over those.
