I don’t know why they don’t start a bit earlier on centre and No 1 courts. It would avoid some of these late night matches. It must be horrible if you’re last on having to hang around all day.

That first set was the first one she lost at this championship.

It's a big stage to learn to cope with that in front of so many people, with so much pressure and expectation.

And to have to wait all day for the match as well. So hard.

Play started on centre today at 1:45 surely they could get going a bit earlier than that. Maybe that might also mean other matches which were called off from the weather have a chance. And it might mean Manic Monday isn't as manic

My daughter is the same age as Emma and suffers with anxiety and panic attacks, I'd guess that's what's happening. I just want someone to give her a cuddle, some space to breathe and let her find her centre. It's all got too much I think, it's very overwhelming in there I imagine. Poor kid 😔

I really do think, had it been played early in the day, it would have been a different story. She might not have won, but she would have had a better chance.
