Yay! Sabalenka wasn't very gracious in defeat.

Mr. Karolina was a nervous wreck.

I'm not that keen on Sabalenka- she always looks a bit miserable.
I suppose getting to the Wimbledon final makes up for imploding in Rome.

Hopefully she'll play better in the final than she did in Rome!

That was the oddest final Jane. Just awkward all round.

I am glad the shrieky one lost. This will make for an interesting final with two players with completely contrasting styles of play.

Ash did well to claw that back to a straight sets win - I felt sure it would go to a third.

I'm answering my own question from earlier. Sam Quek and Ugo Monye are the new QoS captains.

Haven't seen any tennis for a few hours but may watch some of the Brits mixed doubles now.

They wouldn't need to play- they could just glare across the net.

Well, Broady/Chardy vs Dart/Salisbury have been dumped from BBC2 and haven't even made the red button. Skupsi is on there but hopefully only a few games away from victory.

I like Skupsi and hopefully there's only one game to go. Then we can go back to No 1 Court.

It just goes to show doesn't it- that even being a Brit at Wimbledon doesn't always guarantee you tv coverage.

Doubles players do seem to change partners quite a bit. Maybe it's a practice thing. I'm not sure. I suppose mixed is not a 'thing' in many tournaments, so there are often a few scratch pairings.
