It's interesting to get an inside view Science. Centre Court looked packed to capacity!

I always shout at the tv when commentators say, when players come on for a new match after the previous match has been long ‘oh what a shame there aren’t many spectators to welcome the players’ - the spectators are all in the queue for the loo! What do you expect them to do?!

I've never been there myself.

We lived on ready meals during Wimbledon fortnight when I was growing up. M&S ready meals, but still! My mum went on strike, and my dad could barely boil an egg. Good on her, I say.

My mum loved it too, she taught me the rules even though she never played it herself ( or even go and watch any of it!) just from watching the tv!
My dad called it ' Pat ball ' for reasons only known to him!

Sounds like a great day Science - it’s interesting to hear what you thought of it - I’m slightly alarmed at the lack of social distancing especially when the roof is closed.

The atmosphere seems different when the roof’s closed even on the telly so I can’t imagine what it’s like in real life

Science I've been saying all week, that the '50 %' thing seems to have been misrepresented. They mean across the whole ground. No way was court 1 only half full on Monday, when Tim was waffling about it holding 12345 people.

And the half an hour thing seems a bit arbitrary- I'm not convinced there was was half an hour between the end of the Medvedev match, and starting the Humbert one. And if the specatators don't leave, what's the point?

I'm glad you had a good day though- it is exactly (to the day) 27 years yesterday that I went to Wimbledon .

I am coming out of the closet to say I wanted Kyrgios to win today even though I acknowledge he's an absolute arse. I have a soft spot.

I've just read the end of the last thread. Richard Gere what the hell! I wouldn't want to rely on them to pick someone out of a lineup!
