I have heard of HCM (Curtis’ heart condition) before but only through another tv show.
The character on there led a pretty normal life aa long as he was taking his medication.
Of course, I don’t know how realistic that is

The factory confuses me. Ages ago nick? Announced that the factory was no longer going to be making knickers but they would be made abroad in a cheaper foreign factory and that the underworld factory would just be a packing/distribution centre. All the workers were up in arms. But now it seems that they are making knickers, or at least Izzy was from home. I don’t think we’ve seen anyone in the factory actually sewing, have we? We see lots of office stuff and lots of chats in the staff rest area but no actual knicker stitching.

Curtis’s dad had HCM and they thought thats What Curtis has too big they found other symptoms of something else they aren’t sure what it is. But they are certain he could drop dead at any moment- or not at all.

Underworld is more like a drop in centre with people coming to work then leaving then reappearing as they see fit e.g. Fizz, Sean. All dressed up to the nines😀

People who work there are off galavanting in the middle of the day, in the pub, in the shop, Roy’s etc.

Remember back in the day all the machinists used to all troop together over to the rovers on their lunch break. Janice and co.

And Izzie's Knickers were sub-standard and weren't going to be used, but she would still be allowed to make them.

They used to send someone to Roy's for custard slices and barm cakes. Is anyone currently working in Roy's, who makes cuppas for Billy and the Bishop in there?

In classic Corrie they do attempt to make show of actually working and the machines going with an apron. None this dress like you are CEO to sew knickers. They must flog for them £30 pair they can’t make more than one an hour. Why can’t they just pretend to do some bloody work! They seem have more office and sales staff than stuff to sell.

There was always the whirr of the machines back in the old days!

Some Mike relation needs to return. Not Adam, I suppose Sarah is Mike's daughter in law?

In the days of Ida Clough/Ivy/Vera etc, the factreh was a proper sweatshop and Mike had quite a poky little office. You'd often see Ivy/Vera going home for lunch.

I think outsourcing production was Carla’s plan, but then she had her breakdown and gave all her shares away. When Sarah took over she decided Underworld would design and produce its own ranges, rather than constantly chasing ‘the Rawlings order’ or whichever order was make or break that week. Hence Nina draws a picture of a woman in a corset every few weeks and Carla nods and mumbles whilst staring at it pinned to a board.

This missed a trick who is buying sexy undies and corsets? Most women I know have ditched the bra and morphed into Harvest knickers!

I don’t mind Sam but the scene where he was saying he had miscalculated the trajectory in falling off the swing (or something similar) was ridiculous.

The only characters I like from this week's dire offering so far are David (has some great one liners) and Ty's granny - Maureen Lipman. The rest are just woeful.
I look forward to Classic Corrie more than this.
So her in prison (can't remember her name) is getting flashbacks. So am I, I have a vague recollection that this show was once good.

Agree with Emma's new fella and the leading heart specialist - perhaps they have a heart clinic near the liver clinic...back in the day, we didn't need all these specialists - Martin Platt did it all, and managed a pint with Kev in the Rovers every lunch time, night...
