Just started watching classic Corrie on the hub, and classic Emmerdale, the difference is huge. I have watched them for years but forgotten how much better they used to be compared to now

I don’t know, he looked quite excited when she said she no longer wanted to take it slow and invited him back to the flat. I think it seems weird for us because we haven’t seen them kiss or even be close to each other but I guess that’s the covid guidelines

Classic Corrie is amazing - I started watching all the episodes a couple of months ago, and binge watch the weeks every weekend. It's in a different league. Sharp, funny, sad and runs at a far quicker pace. When I watch current Corrie, it seems like it's in slow motion in comparison.

I agree - totally unrealistic - the scripts are driving the storylines - the characters personalities change to fit them. Unlike early Corrie, when I character stayed the same and the plots were character driven.

I intend to watch Friday's episodes today while DH is glued to the Tour de France. It may be marginally more interesting.

You knew what you were getting with Jack and Vera. Jack was always getting into scrapes but nothing dangerous and mostly funny! they never did anything out of character like murdering someone or drug dealing

Why would Curtis assume that Emma was breaking up with him, and saying 'this always happens to me.' He is young and good looking, he has a job, and is studying to be a doctor, he should have the world at his feet.
I thought it was hilarious when Gemma asked why Chez was being dropped from the nude Calander, why not drop Imran or Adam she asked. Why not indeed?
