I used to love Ryan, I thought they’d finally got the character right with the Geoff storyline and once boring Michelle had left so he’d stopped getting caught up in her drama, but now he’s getting more like the second incarnation again 🙄 I still can’t believe this one and the second one we’re meant to be the same person as original Ryan! 😂

I wonder what doing with Izzy she can’t be leaving or they done she moved to Scotland or something. Unless they going make her office manager and we going have face silly zoom story lines every episode.

Alya was sensible enough before now making her out to be some silly 16y old “you’re stealing my boyfriend”. She’s going leave lipstick on his shirt or something isn’t she.

I hate when soaps pit women against each other like that and the silly bitching comments they think are so witty and clever come out. Why does alya rise to it? Daisy is loving the reaction she is getting. It’s the only reason she is going after Ryan. Don’t rise to it Alya!

Yes he’s not really a catch doesn’t have a job unless he really is some amazing DJ. He move in with bin bags of stuff in the pub and then lazy about the back room. Catch! Daisy only wants him for sake of it then deny any feelings next morning after Alya finds out.

When the soccer is over will itv have Olympics, because I can't cope with the wrong days and times. I'm a bit worried about Gail going to Thailand again, no good will come of it.

I don’t think she’d pass GCSE Drama.

I think the plot with Ryan deluding himself he’s still going to be a superstar DJ one day is quite realistic. I’ve known a few people like that in creative industries. Alya’s reaction is quite true to life too - sort of torn between admiration at him following his dream and the practical side of her that knows it’s unlikely to happen for him.

I don’t understand what Sarah and Sally expect Carla to do in the Izzy storyline. Carla wanted to sack her - no, that was wrong; she should acknowledge Izzy is struggling and support her. Carla comes round to their way of thinking, persuades Izzy not to quit and asks others to take on more work to get the order out - no, that’s wrong too. That’s patronising and unfair. What DO they expect her to do? Discover a cure for EDS?

I read that the actress who plays Izzy has not been out of her home since March 20, except for one hospital appointment. She remains CEV and therefore is staying at home at the moment.

They are filming her scenes in a corner of her lounge and the 'next door neighbour' is her real life husband.

Yes I was wondering this too. It sounds like they want the work load to stay the same for everyone in the factory without Izzy having to do any. So that means hiring someone else in the factory- fine. But do they just continue to pay Izzy a salary and tell her her work is being used when it isn’t? And they’re providing all the materials for it to be chucked out? Couldn’t they just continue to furlough her?

If this was real life even CEV groups are not being told to shield so option this point would be work from home or sacked. It’s lovely they want pay her for not working but unrealistic . Or worse forcing her to work
In pain do a rubbish job and put them in bin anyway. I’d take “hurt feelings” over pushing joints and being on agony. Still it’s good they aw letting her do something suppose.

Though they could make her a designer or account manager for sake of story.
