I understand why they've binned it, but equally it's a show for adults isn't it? Watching people smoke won't make me start again.

I feel like they're aiming LI towards teens these days. Yawn.

I had this exact conversation with my daughter yesterday. So much of the random funny parts, unexpected chats and drama happened around the smoking areas and we got to see friendships forming as well as the couplings.

This series is just lacking something. No big character has emerged yet or any couples that look as if they might even remotely fancy one another.

It needs a shake up and fast. Move it back to 10, let them smoke and mix more freely. Allow it to be more natural (or as much as is possible in that environment).

I’ve liked Aaron the most since the start. He’s really chilled, very mature and doesn’t take himself too seriously. I also think he has decent respect for the girls. When all the others were trying to get the goss from him on kissing Sharon he was holding back on saying too much and I really liked that about him. He also has the most amazing skin! I noticed that he has stretch marks on his shoulders and arms and it’s interesting that he hasn’t airbrushed them out of any of his own Instagram pics yet the LI promo pics have done. Another reason why I respect him.m!

Agree although I think 9pm is fine, just treat the viewers like adults and stop sanitising everything.

Best part of series 2 we're the girls' friendships and other friendships outside the couplings. Its like a completely different show now!

Apparently its because her decision to pick aaron sent shannon home. Even though chloe had to pick someone, and didnt know it was going to send anyone home. But even if she did know, she still had to pick someone!! So ridiculous.

Agree that the show might be coming to its natural end...

Poor Hugo! 5pm Faye is doing heavy duty flirting with him and leading him to believe they could couple up. 6pm she's getting ready for a date. 7pm she's smitten with the new guy!

I thought Chuggs wasn't as bad as he seemed from that trailer/intro/whatever it was shown the night before.

You can't let nutters who make death threats on Instagram dictate the future of a game show, this or anything similar.

Contestants should be fully aware by now it could happen. Hopefully the fuckwits will be traced and prosecuted.

Press speculation was that Chloe was taken in quicker than anticipated to purely get rid of Shannon as she wasn't coming up with the goods....she was the one who on her reel said something about like a lot of sex, I guess they thought she's be leaping on the first stiffy along....

Faye is making a huge mistake picking Liam. She isn't attractive enough to keep him. He will jump ship as soon as someone better looking comes along.

Unless there’s a real disaster I think Love Island will limp on. I’d love to watch a true reality programme, with a mix of people, something like Big Brother series 1. I think we’re all too worldly wise for that now though.

@Morgan12 - That really made me laugh for some reason 😂 Probably because it’s true.

Not sure if she was barking up the right tree pretending to fancy Hugo for a bit though. He might have seemed like a “Dr Alex/safe bet/nice guy” choice but I’m not sure that he actually is - it will be interesting to see how he behaves with women if he actually has any interested in him.

I miss the genuinely wholesome Camilla and Alex types..

I would choose Jake to leave too @Newpuppymummy. There is something not nice about him - not pantomime villain kind of “not nice” (which I can deal with on reality tv Grin) but a there is a real “not nice” vibe coming off him somehow. If my DA brought someone like Jake home it would send a shiver through me Shock
