Just reading this about the improved support contestants will be receiving - counselling sessions and social media support. Love Island: ITV announces new contestant welfare measures

I cannot stand faye. Not idea why, but she totally does my head in. Think she absolutely loves herself.

Dont know why she keeps on saying that her and chloe look alike, they look nothing like eachother!!

Liams bloody unusual as most Welshies are really bloody short!

Chloe is going to go after the posh sounding one. I think she has her eye out for someone with money. She got very interested when she learned that aaron had a good job and degree educated. Defo seemed to make her a lot more interested....

There's not much fun happening in there is there? They all looked so bored waiting for the girls to come back from the dates. No one really chatting. Never been this flat before. Still I'll continue to watch and probably be hooked by next week.

Is anyone else finding it a bit boring this year? I found myself just scrolling around on my phone for most of the episode, I hope I get into it again properly maybe it’s just early days but I don’t think any of the people they’ve put on are that likeable this year, in the last years they’ve always had some good characters in from the beginning but this lot just seem dull

Yes it is boring, none of them seem particularly funny.

I don't think they look alike. I think Faye looks like a younger Katie Price.

Sharon really grew on me tonight, she seems very honest, down to earth and can hold a conversation without a fake laugh.
The comparison with her date and Fayes date shows Faye doesn’t have much chat, Sharon goes with the flow.
I thought Hugo and Fayes chat in the day time was sincere but in the evening they had another chat and Faye was being more flirty I realised she was looking for a safe bet.
I completely agree about Jake, something I couldn’t put my finger on so didn’t comment but all the PPs comments sum up what I was thinking. I hope Liam and Liberty hit it off as they both seem like nice people

And the bit where the girls were on the terrace chatting naturally is so much better to watch than the fake scripted chats they have.
They need to go back to basics and leave the contestants to get on with it a bit, I think that’s why this year there’s not many funny people as they all rely on the producers stepping in and setting up “scenes”
