I think the writers have given up on detail. Decades ago there were viewers out there who would spot a picture moved, a detail in the script wrong, a contradiction of some sort.
Now it's just full of contradictions.

I wonder about this new bistro lad, his dad died in a road accident i think, could he be out for revenge against someone on the street? It seems more plausible than him being just a nice normal young man.

Didn't both Carla's husband and Maria's Liam both die in accidents around 15 years ago?

Did he say his dad died in a road accident? I thought he said he only got to go out with his dad once on the motorbike, everyone went "Oh" thinking it was a sad story, and he said "Oh no, I just lent the wrong way around the corners" and laughed, meaning that his dad wouldn't take him again because he was a rubbish passenger? I may have completely misunderstood though (probably fairly likely!).

Also, hate to say it, but Daisy was quite witty too

Where is Alina getting the money from to buy all this stuff? Do they already a joint account from which she is spending? Not sure what she does for a living now - is she still at the factory or did she start that nail business (where she and Ty bonded over Excel).

There are too many characters that nobody cares about delivering rubbish story lines
There used to be about 20 characters or so, how many are there now?
Change your bloody scriptwriters too, you can't keep track of what they are writing

I'm also wondering where Alina is getting all her money from. I wonder whether she's running up loads of debt on a credit card in Tyrone's name?

I didn’t get the bike joke either presumed you had to be a biker to get the reference. I’m watching old Corrie end of 90s. No sign of anyone’s dad dying yet.

With reference to the bike, my father had a motor-bike before he married my mother, and apparently she fell off, because she leaned the wrong way when going round a corner. He was not pleased!

Now you've said it, I think quite likely he'll turn out to be Steve's son, by which time Emma will find out she's dating or fallen for her own half-brother!

Horrendous storyline.. Her Dad lied to her that Martin was being unfaithful, so she believing him... terminated her pregnancy, Martin never forgave her so she murdered her Dad...

it was a truly awful storyline...

Craig (in rl) was actually really talented wasn't he? He's done all sorts on the west end since.
