Yes, Todd and Billy really are the most annoying couple. When is Todd going to get found out? Probably when he's at his happiest and officially moved in and proposed to Billy.

I knew Rita was secretly calling the police. Sharon will get some witness protection deal so she won't go to prison if she tells the police EVERYTHING.

2/10 to Billy and Todd for their conversation with Summer in the hospital - faces shocked, literally no positivity about the diagnosis and next to no reassurance for her. Poor kid having to contend with that (I've no doubt the diabetes will be mentioned perhaps twice more, before it's never spoken of again.)

It was AWFUL how they handled it. Really bad.

Why doesn't Billy ever go to church or need to deal with his parishioners?

Hey summer you have type 1… you may need 4 or more injections a day… long moan about how awful parent I am. injections are only the part of it. No mention of blood tests, fluids, food restrictions , reading labels. Hypos highs and lows. If anything made it sound like it’s nothing.

Can’t decide if my moneys on don’t mention it after a week or she be fainting all over place and getting shouted at to check bloods or have you eaten for the next 23857 conversation.

Surely if he's an Archdeacon now he doesn't have a church or parishioners of his own? Not that he did much Vicaring when he was a Vicar.

All of which illustrates that Corrie just picks up illness storylines for publicity purposes and doesn’t t follow them through.

And finally they have added some detail after all our How old is she comments. She’s doing her AS level so must be 17 before 31st aug this year. Not that you can tell as they still talk about school as if she’s 13.

They did a diabetes storyline before. Was it Katy someone? Martin Platt ended up having an affair with her after showing her how to inject an orange. And then she murdered her mum I think. Tyrone married her in real life. It's all very hazy.

I wonder about this new bistro lad, his dad died in a road accident i think, could he be out for revenge against someone on the street? It seems more plausible than him being just a nice normal young man.

Yep sounds like a backstory we should pay attention to. Who do we know that died in a road accident?

Thought it funny when Todd said Billy would be able to help Summer use a needle because he used to be a junkie, which reminds me that they've already done the revenge/car accident storyline with Billy.

I hope hes something to do with pat Phelan, he was so bad. If new lad is 20, it must be a recent accident? Or the bike is vintage, so maybe it has been in storage.
