I'm a tad obsessed with this programme and I'd love to hear your theories on what they would post on here for a bit of fun

My DD is starting school in September and what I want to know is if Motherland is realistic?!

Kevin is deffo on Mumsnet and Dadsnet just so Jill doesn't totally think he's emasculated. I reckon he has tow usernames and gets muffled when he's pissed round Julia's doing #shitshop

It's based on real people from the playground. It's obviously been exaggerated but definetly elements of real in there.

Julia would be posting about her DH 'hobby' and her mum, and her in laws, and her job. She's the most frazzled for sure.

Anne would be posting stupid AIBUs such as “AIBU to go to the zoo without a spare packed lunch in case one of the children loses theirs?” She would then drip feed MASSIVELY.

Kevin would be posting AIBU - parking ones - with diagrams (although it would be other people’s parking/parking obstructing his cycling).

Amanda will be on the gifted and talented board, saying how a tap dancing, Keats-reciting, knower of first 50 cube numbers 1 year old wasn’t particularly exceptional and all hers had been doing that from 6 months.

Liz would of course not be on Mumsnet but occasionally stalk the forum and send screenshots of someone’s ridiculous post (eg can I get pregnant from dirty bedsheets?)

Oh god I bloody love this show, me & DH binge watched the entire 3rd series over the last 2 days. I can identify school mums from every since character.

I feel quite evangelical about Motherland because I lived I. London's nappy land for a few years and now live in a northern 'Surrey Style' enclave so similar alpha mum and followers dynamic. I am Liz but with a career so I have the Julia life too.

I think Julia will post and say she's carrying it all, her mother is a bitch and her mil is incompetent. Her DH has a busy and important job and she can't find 'staff' aka a pushover nanny
Amanda will totes have a gifted and talented child but will be under the sex board about the squaddie and johnnies jealousy issues.
